Survivor 48--Who's Watching?

goes through another’s bag.
I don't have an issue with the way they are playing but I do agree on this above statement. I've never liked that they allowed it to occur. Seems to be something that one day some cast member did it and there wasn't a rule against it written so they allowed it and it kept going. I may be having bad memory right now but I don't remember this being part of the earlier seasons.

I just think looking through someone's bag just feels like it shouldn't be allowed

Have you watched any of his exit interviews? Seven months later and he still hasn't gotten over it. He is trash talking all of his castmates.
Yeah he for sure comes across as someone who doesn't like to lose. The way he lost the immunity challenge was super clear in that and I think he came across as more embarrassed arrogant like embarrassed that it was his legs giving out is what caused it but arrogant in his demeanor about getting out. Then there's Joe's expression that was shocked like none other and here comes David to steamroll and guilt trip him about winning.

He says his ex girlfriend dumped him when she found out that he didn't win. How long do you think it will be before she speaks up and defends herself?
From the start he didn't seem to come off to me like someone who would be that desperate to save a relationship by these means. If someone told me the only way I'd stay with you is if you win a large cash sum then my immediate thought is you don't want to be with someone like that.

However, seeing how he was I'm thinking that this whole story is quite a bit different than that truth. It could be that he wasn't working and she was fed up, it could have been that he was using the money earned on wrong stuff (i.e. addictive or nonsensical things), etc Or it could be all a huge lie to cover up other things but if I were his girlfriend I wouldn't be staying with someone who went on live tv and said if he didn't win he would be dumped.

I agree. There are many ways to outwit and outplay and outlast without going through someone's own personal belongings.

Kyle goes out of his way to protect Kamilla, but I think, if the tables were turned she would flip on him in a second with no regret.

Easy vote. I want a big move at this point.
They should have blindsided Eva and not told Joe. She would not have expected it. I don't actually want Eva voted off. I am cheeering for her. But from a players standpoint, breaking up pairs is better. If Shauhin thinks people will vote for him over Eva or Joe he is delusional. He is the one who I thought would try to get them to break up that pair.

You're right--when Joe won immunity, I thought Eva would be an obvious target. It seems nobody even thought of her. I like her, too, but bonded pairs are trouble in "Survivor"--just ask the people who voted out Rob and Amber. Oh, wait...

Not a fan of Eva. She is holding up a big neon sign telling them all they are next on the chopping block and that her and Joe are F2 (bet they just want an F2). She said 'let's just keep this thing rolling'. If the others don't get those 2 out, then forget about winning anything. Done.

And I am not a fan of this 'play an honest' game crap. That isn't my Survivor. So it may finally be time for me to say farewell. I have been saying it for several seasons now but, yeah, this season hasn't been fun to watch. Big block of comp beasts rolling over everyone else and being straight up with them and all friendly. Not even being strategic. Like last night's vote off...that person isn't going to win a challenge but they could go stir up the jury. Nothing strategic about last night.

And the wimp who wouldn't go with the underdog plan. How stupid. They are going to be coming up to that chopping block in 1 or 2 more tribals. So so dumb. Not a fan of that person anymore.

*tried to not say names and spoil for anyone who hasn't watched yet

I was yelling at the TV. They could have pulled this off, unless the editing isn’t working in my brain’s favor.
This scenario only works if Eva or Joe never gets wind of it.

Vote Round 1
Underdogs 4 for Eva vs Power Clique 4 for whoever

Tie brings revote for one of those two.
Underdogs + Shauhin 5 for Eva vs Power Clique 3 for whoever.

No need for rocks.

But with Eva having both an immunity idol and the safety without power, odds are they'd have to target her twice and after the first time, she's be very aware that they're out to get her.

I really like Joe, want him to win. Kyle and Shauhin have to go

I don’t think she can use either advantage if they go to tie and her name is one of them.

I listened to the On Fire podcast last night. Rachel brought up a good point. We see how close the "Core Four" is, but the rest of the beach doesn't hear the conversations that we do. Last week, Mitch was Joe's first choice for the reward. Mitch may feel that he has a better relationship with Joe than what editing is showing us.

I do not like all the physical challenges over some puzzles. It would be nice for one of the underdogs to win a reward or challenge and stir things up a bit. I do think people will begin to turn on each other. The last night is May 21, so they are going to have to start using strategy.

David's face at tribal. I would not want to be on his bad side.

Rachel won last night immunity challenge last season. I thought Shauhin had it based on using the same strategy.

I agree about the puzzles, although yesterday's immunity challenge could have been won by anybody.

I'm thinking that Shauhin, Kyle, Mitch, and Kamilla might work together to target Joe and Eva. That lets Mary skate through which is dangerous.

David is still bitter months later. He's dangerous on the jury.

Yeah, Eva would have to be a total blindside, but this would have been a good opportunity. I feel like Mitch has no strategy at all.

While I agree that David will be a bitter juror, I fear that Star will be causing chaos on the jury, as well. Maybe they'll cancel each other out?
I think that Star and David will be hating on the same folks. I think Kamilla is sitting prettiest of them all. I'd say Mitch too but I wonder if Star is now a little hurt by Mitch's weak game play. Maybe Mary since David and Star seemed close to her but the rest of the jury probably aren't big Mary fans. I feel like we will get to the 2 pairs, Eva/Joe and Kamilla/Kyle battling it out. Though who will they (each pair) want to take as a goat (sure loser)? I would have thought that Star would be a good 3rd. None of this season makes any game play sense so who knows.
