I've changed my views on Kai completely. For some one who cried over an axe being used on a tree because of his respect for life, he doesn't seem very respectful of the lives of the other people on that island with him. He's a snake.
I hope he, Scott and Jason see the show when they return. And that they realize how the world sees them. How future employers, how their parents, how their children, how their neighbors, all saw the behavior they chose to portray to the world.
We are defined by our actions. And their actions show that they're vindictive, spiteful bullies. They can try to justify their actions all they want. But they've chosen to put their emotions and their grab for the almighty dollar above common human decency.
Their families must be so proud.
I would also venture to say that Tai already knew that the other team members could start easily start a fire ... as they proved the day before. Putting out the fire overnight was meant as an annoyance rather than to people in physical danger. We all find it very easy to be judgmental of the people on these reality shows based on the edited version the producers provide for us. We are all guilty of doing it but I think we do have to remember is is a game and it is heavily edited. It would take more than what I see on the screen for me to say as an employer or as a parent they are bad people. Some have shown through other sources that they are exactly what we see on tv but others are simply being edited to be the bad guy on the show.
Some of the people that many fans have despised on the show are completely opposite of how they are portrayed (according to Jeff Probst).
Debbie's Ponderosa...wow, just wow!
Love that the guys want to vote Debbie off the Ponderosa.Debbie's Ponderosa...wow, just wow!
I did notice!Did you guys notice that Debbie lied in her Ponderosa video? They weighed her at the beginning, and she came in at 101 pounds, down from 114. But when Nick (?) asked her what she weighed, she said 94 pounds! It's like she can't let the truth slide from her lips!
Could have voted for one of the guys and forced the idol into play. It is now still in play, and the girls just lost their numbers advantage, and will be in the minority after the next vote when the idol will be used. What do you think they should have done? I think that was their only move that could protect the core group of girls who they can trust. I think it's stupid that the boys gave the idol to Tai, but he will probably be forced to give one back to Jason because he is their puppet. I hope he grows a pair and leaves those two bozos and takes the idol with him!
I'm sure the west coast knows not to read the thread until they've watched.I know the west coast still has not seen tonight's episode yet...so...all I can say is wow. Can't wait to hear what you all thought!
