His move of writing down Coutney's name last night was brilliant. He played coach and it allows him to feed into the belief of JT that there is an all-girls alliance.

Russel & his pawns were supposed to vote for Courtney, not Coach this time. At 1st Russell wanted Coach out, but right before tribal council Danielle swayed him (after he told her he wouldn't change his mind). In the end it was Parvati that flipped & voted for Coach, not Courtney, which sent Coach home. Parv has her own agenda here, she's not stupid. Just like Jeff said in his blog - when Ruseell had one iota of doubt about Parv he should have run with that gut instinct - instead his ego got in the way & it never crossed his mind that Parv would go against him. I think she has a Plan B & going against Russell in this week's vote was the start. I bet that was in interesting walk back to camp once Russell realized his precious Parv went against his demands & didn't vote for Courtney. I wouldn't doubt if Parv IS behind an all-girl alliance from this point on.

Although with editing who knows what really happened...Russell didn't seem shocked that Coach went, even though he told his co-horts to vote for Courtney, so maybe something went on behind the scenes that they didn't show.

Looks like Russell has you fooled as well. He didn't flip, he saw the advantage to not voting with the girls. He knows JT thinks there is an all-girls alliance and he is playing two steps ahead.

I liked the Ponderosa video clips. I have never seen them before, didn't know we could watch them.

I think it's unfair that all the players didn't get to see Russell's episodes air. That gives him an unfair advantage since everyone else saw everyone else episodes. Just saying! I'm hoping that when they are voted off and waiting for the final tribal council that the producers let them watch the previous Survivor. I think that would have been the only fair thing to do in re: to Russell.

When are the women going to smarten up and have a women's alliance (as JT thinks) They keep letting the men vote them off (I'm not talking about just this season, it's been a problem in all seasons.)

But then again it is not fair that Russell went from one season to the next without knowing how he did in the previous season. He knew he was final 3 going into Hero's vs Villains, but did not know the outcome. So, he obviously did not get to learn from his mistakes (social). All the other players knew how they fared in their seasons and had time to readjust game play if they so desired.

I really feel it was Danielle and Parvarti's way to tell Russell he is not in charge they are.

I thought that it was Danielle and Parvati's way to show Russel, he is not in control. We are. That is why they voted for Coach. Because Russel decided to now vote Courtney.

I thought that they filmed before Samoa aired.

If that's the case, do you think that she respects him least because she never saw him play?

I assumed they watched the Survivor episodes before it was aired publicly or Russel would have a HUGE advantage of the other contestents not knowing how he plays.

No, he wanted Coach out (Coach did not vote for Rob to go which was against Russell), and wants Coach's jury vote. He knew Coach would go with the girls vote.

Yes I saw it, he wrote something on the paper. That' a good move, but let see how the rest of the people go out, because once the get to ponderosa and start talking about who or how they got them out and like last time they all figured Russ out and didn't give him the vote, if Jerry gets voted off by Russ she can go and cry to coach also the girls would start wondering Parv and Danielle, but it was a smart move from Russ.

He wouldn't have to. JT thinks there is an all-girl alliance because Rob was voted off. When he sees that Coach is gone, it will (to him) confirm his suspicions. Plus, if there is a merge, Russell can play him along then.
