On Russell's FB page he has a collage picture that shows him, Rupert, Boston Rob, Coach and Richard Hatch.

I'm surprised that there isn't a confidentiality agreement that disallows this from being posted on a contestant's FB page.

Yes. I don't recall the guys's name, but he had hair almost as bad as Shambo's.

Screen time though has no bearing on voting, though.

So while what you say makes sense...

In the end, screen time is determined in the editing bay by how things play out and the story they wish to tell on survivor. (I thought I recall an interview where they stated that much of what they edit is done so in an on-site production facility since it is hours and hours of footage that has to be sorted through.)

So aligning based on that premise alone, is no guarantee of what will occur since everyone is getting filmed at one time or another.

I'm curious as to how many camera operators they have on the island at any given time.

I totally get what you are saying, but you know at least initially Boston Rob will get screen time because the viewers want/expect to see him. The All Stars are not your average off the street contestants. They all have been through the show at least once and many twice. Many of them make their livings off of their reality tv personalities. They are very savvy contestants and most of them aren't going to be on the show purely for the love of the game or the prize money. They are going to be there doing as many outrageous things as they can to get as much screen play as possible and promote themselves.

Look at Coach. His sole purpose of being on the show was to promote the "Coach" brand. He was a pretty stupid player and didn't really have a good game strategy, but he succeeded in creating his persona which will probably end up being more profitable for him than winning the game. I'm just saying that the goals of many of these All Stars isn't necessarily to win the game so their voting strategies might be different from a more typical contestant.

That was one of my favorite scenes in Survivor history. The guy's name was Erik.

I have Tivo and last night during the finale they showed the clip for Villians vs Heroes and when we paused it and went frame by frame for each group I saw:

Yau-Man
Amanda
Ozzy

I didn't see Boston Rob,Rupert,Johnny or Elizabeth

I haven't followed Survivor since the beginning so I'm not sure who the other people were.

There was one lady but I wasn't sure if it was Cirie or Taj (Eddie Georges wife) but I'm leaning more towards Taj

Even going frame by frame it was hard to see each individual because they went so fast and overlapped each other

When I paused it frame by frame I saw Sandra and Fairplay from Pearl Islands, and I swear I saw Rudy, but the heroes were much harder to get a clear view of.

I would like to see an over 40 season. They have been some great older players that just can't complete physically against the younger crowd.

So far my hands down fav moment was in Samoa when Galu thought they were getting rid of Russell and he whipped out idol #2. The look on Dave Ball's face was priceless.

This again? I think it should be clear from the beginning if this is a no spoiler thread or not, and not go blindsiding people along the way without warning, like I've seen in the past on other threads. No debate necessary about the value or not of spoilers, how often they've been right or wrong in the past, why one person doesn't care if there are spoilers vs others who do...just let there be a decision and stick to it.

I'm of the "no spoilers" camp. And as others have posted:

It's the season 20 already film? I was on a website where they had the 2 tribes merge already and the elimination line. I didn't read it, just saw the colors and the list of names but got out of it right away.

It's already been filmed. In fact, the cast and crew of Survivor left Samoa just in time in late September, right before the tsunami hit. So it's totally possible that *someone* has leaked info or footage of next season. I don't like spoilers when it comes to Survivor.

Oh I see. Thank you. I figured they had and I don't like spoilers either, I was on a website and clicking links here and there took me to that website, then I freaked out and closed it.

That's exactly what happened to me! I went to a web site just to see the cast list for next season, when I suddenly realized that someone had put comments next to each of the player's names, indicated how they had done in the game! I closed that window out like it had spiders coming out of it.

DH made fun of me haha I made the same mistake with the amazing race all stars and I kicked myself many times for that, I went to a website and clicked on something and there it was, the whole elimination line and the winners. I hate spoilers like that.

If people want there to be spoilers, that's fine with me. But IMHO, it should be clearly stated in the subject line, and people should stick to it.

Since happygirl likes to be the first to start reality show threads and decide that there should be spoilers, then perhaps it would make sense for 4greatboys to decide if this is or isn't a spoiler thread and include it in the title, esp if this stays THE official thread.

Even though I was one of the few rooting for Natalie, I would like to see Russell go all the way this time as well. I just hope he doesn't underestimate "dumb females" this time around. That could be his downfall. Also, he can't try to make "secret alliances" with everyone after the merge. Obviously that pissed people off, and he didn't even need that to win the game either.

I also want to see Tyson make it far for comic relief. He always cracks me up.
