This morning started out much like the last one. Dh was up and out early to make his round of golf. The kids and I slept in and then I got everyone cleaned up. Once we were dressed and ready to go, we headed to the lobby to speak to someone at the concierge desk. I explained to the very nice CM the scenario and he said they were very short staffed, but to let him see what he could do. He went and spoke with the manager and verified that all their runners were already running!

But the manager was extremely upset about the rude bus driver and wanted to know his name. He would call transportation himself to report the incident. In the meantime he told the CM to take me to bell services and see if they had a bellman that could ride the bus with me to handle the stroller. So I followed him over, but they were short staffed as well. So they were working on getting us a taxi, but I really didn't want to have to hold both kids in the car and I don't like them not being in car seats. (I really dislike the busses for this reason too, but I digress...) Anyway, I told them I really didn't expect them to pay for a taxi, I just needed someone to lift the stroller onto and off of the bus. I told the concierge CM that I would try the bus first and see if I got a nice bus driver this time. I only had to worry about it for today and only going to MK as DH would meet me there and he would be with us the rest of the trip.
So he said, lets go I'll go with you! Only thing was as we started walking to the bus stop here comes the bus!

He looks at me and says "GO! I can't walk that fast, but I'll meet you there, hold that bus!" I told Aubrey to hold on for dear life and I ran with that stroller. When we got to the bus stop, there was someone there coordinating the busses. The CM explained to her what had happened the night before and told her the drivers had to help this was their job. She looked at him as if she was saying "What do you want me to do about it?" And I guess he saw it too, because he looked at her and told her that she was going to help him get that stroller on the bus! (He had one arm in a bandage himself!) A very nice family overheard what was going on and told us to go ahead they would wait for another bus. I didn't hear the entire conversation after I was instructed to take my kids the stroller was coming, LOL but he gave the driver the what for and I know he told her to take the stroller off the bus for me. I never did see him again, and I hope he heard me yelling thank you to him!
So we are finally on our way to the MK. There was a nice family that let Aubrey have her older daughters seat and then the family behind me gave up Dad's seat for me and Ashton. When we got to the MK, the daughter of family 1 carried my stroller off the bus for me and Dad from family 2 carried my bag so that I could just get the kids!

And when I say carried, they took them both all the way off the bus and thru the que area to a spot that I could easily open the stroller without being in the way.
Aubrey and I knew exactly where we wanted to go first! The bakery! We were starved. So I fed the kids and myself their most healthy breakfast of Chocolate Chocolate chip muffins and juice!
After our delicious breakfast we headed over to the magic carpets, then over to POC. Aubrey scream laughed at the drop and Ashton didn't seem to mind. He jumped a little at the cannon fire, but that was it. Up next was IASW because Aubrey said Ashton liked it. Which he did, he was pointing at everything! Of course after IASW, Aubrey spotted PP so we went on it again. (This would become a pattern)
Next we went in to see Philharmagic. Now Aubrey has seen this a hundred times but she would not wear these guys

but for some reason this year she did! It was so much fun to see her really seeing this film. She was reaching for the jewels and the hat. Ashton of course didn't wear the glasses, but he was going ape over Donald just the same.
Next we rode the carousel. This was the first time Ashton had been on one and he was a little nervous in the beginning while we were waiting for it to start. Once the ride got moving, he loved it! I got a work out as I had one child on each side and one arm around each child. Naturally, their horses were not in sync, so I had one arm in the air and one arm down low!
By now it was starting to get really warm. I had dressed the kids in their swim shorts and rash guards on purpose. I decided to take the kids over to Donalds boat and let them cool off a bit.
While we were splashing at Donalds boat, dh called to say he was at the room getting cleaned up and we discussed what to do for lunch. Both of us had already had our fill of counter service so we decided to see if CP could fit us in around 4 pm. They could get us in at 3:40 so we decided to make it a late lunch early dinner and agreed to meet at CP since dh would be getting there right around our ADR time.
I took the kids on a few more rides, Aubrey wanted to ride Snow White and then she decided to ride Pooh again for Ashton. When we came out of Pooh it had all of a sudden started POURING. It had been extremely hot and sunny up until this point. I was able to cover the now dry children so that they didn't get wet again, but I got soaked. We headed over to CP in the rain and of course by the time we got there the sun was out again.
I'll have to stop here for now, Ashton is up and I have a few things I need to do before I go to get Aubrey from school. I'll try to post part 2 tonight.
