Just this morning my son said, "I so glad it's 2004. I hope we don't have to deal with any death in 2004."

My sister told me yesterday that her MIL is in the last stages and was told a month ago that she would not make it much longer.

My sister's MIL lived next door to my parents. Michael always called her Grandma Margaret and couldn't wait to go see her every time we came into town. He adores her. My sister's been married for 38 years so Grandma Margaret has been a part of our lives forever. A sweeter, gentler soul you'll never meet.

She's been on dialysis for a year and has literally gone downhill since my parents died. My father will be gone a year next week. I seriously think she lost her will since then.

Please pray for my child. He's lost so many people in the past two years and I don't know how much more either one of us can take.

Thanks... :(

:grouphug: How hard for both of you, as I try to get my girls through their first major loss I can't imagine doing this again anytime soon.

I am so sorry for yours and Michael's loss, Robin. I'll say a prayer for you and your family.

{hug}

I'm sorry, Robin. My family had a rough 2003, too. 2004 doesn't seem much better. :grouphug:

I am truly sorry for all you have been through. My prayers go out for your son and your family.

We're hoping the same thing for 2004 at our house too. I'll remember your son and the rest of you in my prayers. I wish our kids didn't have to suffer so.

Awww, I'm sorry, Robin. :(

I'll pray that this is the only loss Michael will have to suffer this year, and will also pray for your sister and her family. :(

Poor Michael has lost way too many people that he holds dear at his young age. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Oh Robin, I feel for your son as well as you. This is difficult to deal with and you will both need much strength in the months to come.

You have been there for me and others during tough times. We will be here for you in return.

Oh my.

Of course Robin. He is in my prayers.
