Surveying the damage, credit-wise

Today was a little like taking a shopping cart and ramming it into a Saturn, it might barely have scratched the surface but didn’t make a dent. I really don’t keep track of it much but bought some of everything but bat I have 1 5 star and 5 1 star already (mind you I wouldn’t touch the one time use stuff) they rolled out the stuff from last year to see what that would do and still no dent. I probably spent 30K but because I continually played all day…at pirates for keys, out of insanity. I just maintained the same bank balance all day for the most part.

Well I had about 45k on my main this morning, and now I'm at about 30k after playing pirates all day and earning maybe about 10-15k playing it, if that. Plus I spent about 10k total from some mules.

So anywhere between 25-35k? I think? I only got one extra of each costume, gifted a costume and a bat magic, and got one extra bat for myself. Don't even know how many furniture items I bought.

Spent half my credits yesterday...38,000. Wasn't here last Halloween so had to male up some.

Bought: 2 Bat magic, 2 of each costume, a few extra tiaras, 2 crowns, tons of lumaria bags and furniture.

Guess I'll be playing Fireworks and Yeti Vision Level 3 until the end of time to make up the credits.

Is that wise to admit after the recent newsletter against mules (specifically mule counts over 50)?

I've only heard that they banned automated code typers or autotypers. Can you please quote what they said since it appears to be gone in the current one.

Playing Pirates all day left me ahead in credits. I spent so much time that I really didn't have a chance to shop. So far I have two brown Haunted Mansion suits, 5 Mickey Pumpkins, 5 Spider Wall dividers and a Mickey bag and yet my character still ended up with more credits than they started out.

Today I will get the Bat Magic which will definitely take a dent. Plan on getting another 5 or 6 bat magics so there goes the farm.

I had about 20K yesterday morning and spent 15K, won back about 5K in games yesterday. That bat magic killed me because I totally wasn't expecting it and yet it is the one and only magic I've been wanting. So I bought that and only two of the costumes. That HM one is the most expensive after you buy all the pieces so I only bought one of those so far.

Then there was the Halloween furniture that showed up later that day and I bought one of each of those. I haven't bought extras of anything yet. As someone else mentioned, I'm worried about spending my credits dry and then having them roll out something unexpected that I can't get.

All I know is I need to get good at some games fast to afford this entire month.

I spent 40,000 credits.

Got one of each outfit for me and CaptScallywag.

Then got one of each outfit for my urchins, Toothles and Guestkoolo. Guestkoolo needed bat magic too, so I bought him that. Don't my kids have me well trained?!

Then I NEEDED a bunch of Chernabog rugs, pumpkin lights, pumpkin bags, and webs for Dashzap's Spooky Conservatory.

Maybe the costumes will change each week, but the furnishings and bat magic will be the same until the end of the month? I hope so because I will run out of credits soon if I keep this up!

I bought the Black HM suit minus the shoes which I already had and the pumpkin bag. I didn't go too crazy. I may have done if I'd realised that they were selling the mickey pumpkins from last year.

they are in the emporium under furniture and specials. pumpkins are in furniture thats probably why you missed them . skeleton chairs as well

I dropped a little over 12,000 yesterday, and pretty much only bought costumes. No bat, no furniture, except the little bags. I still have furniture to get, but VMK was such an exercise in frustration yesterday (couldn't get into Fireworks or HM, and I am so bad at pirates, I end up in the hole at least a third of the time), that I gave up, having recouped only about 2,000.

I still have plenty of credits in reserve, but if I spend like that (and can't do anything to get new credits), I'm going to be in a heap of trouble.

Wow.. 57K? I don't think I've had that many credits ever. I just get credits as I go.. Yeti Vision is a miracle.

Use a mule!

I used some 73 mules today with each having 1500 credits.

Somebody needs to re-read a previous article of Yavn Speaks..

I spent 13,000 credits yesterday on:

2 full yellow dresses (minus the crowns I already had)
2 full black HM suits
2 full brown HM suits

No bat or furniture!

Then I got on later to try to make it back and kept getting sent back to the lobby. I only regained 1,920 credits, including NPC's.

I didn't buy any bat magic, I had 2 from last time. I'll let other people with more credits buy and trade them.
I got
3 brown mansion suits
1 black suit ( I had 2 already)
a couple of yellow dress sets
a couple of extra crowns
a couple of extra gold shoes since everyone tries to get the ones I wear most the time.
2 each of the Halloween stuff except the cool pumpkin bags, I got about 12 of those.
4 of the gold crowns
I won a candy cauldron in a staff game.
I spent about 1/5 of my credits, the other will go to rest of the month,

I seriously want one of the big pumpkin bags that sticks it's tongue out. I was laughing my head off at that.

This was in Yavn's newsletter under what bothers him. We have all ready said our peice and debated it but here it is for you edification:

3. Mules
A Mule is an account that is created and used just once or twice to gain items or credits. While it's OK to have a few different accounts/characters to play with, there are some players who have hundreds of characters, and rarely use them. If you are a player that has lots of Mules (more than 50) beware, we're now cracking down on these players and will start banning accounts.

1 pumpkin
2 skeleton chairs
1 web divider
1 single use bat magic (just for the heck of it)
So that comes to 17,450
plus 4 bat magics to make a total of 57,450

That's so far.

If I do what I want to do, I will end up spending 157,200 just this week.

Gotta go earn more credits now.
