Survey postcard?

I got a postcard from Pop Century yesterday inviting me to participate in an online survey about my stay in early January. Anybody else ever get these or know what triggered me getting one?

They asked me general questions about my stay, the cleanliness of the room, what I thought about the value for the price paid, if I had any service issues, and they specifically asked me about if I had gotten the $200 gift card. They also asked if I will come back and if I will stay onsite, as well as general "how did you like the World" and "will you come back" questions.

Just curious if this was something new. It was new to me!

I got one from All Star Sports yesterday for my January visit.

I've gotten emails before about surveys but never postcards. So maybe this is a new thing.

I stayed at POP in December and I got a postcard just saying "thanks for visiting, we hope you come again" no survey.

I received a similar post card in November about my stay at the Beach Club in October.
I think it's just a random thing...

I stayed at The Beach Club Villas in December. I got the very same kind of postcard, with the same questions.
I answered the survey.
