Has anyone ever signed up for one of those services that gives you lists of companies that will pay you for your opinions? I was just wondering if they're worth it (typically costs $25-35 to signup for the lists)? Also, does anyone really make legitimate money from taking these surveys? I'm looking for all kinds of legal ways to make some extra $s for my DW trips!

I wouldn't pay anything for a list. Just do a yahoo or google search for surveys. I do partnership-plus, e-rewards, harris, nfo, lightspeed, zoomerang, viewpoint and healthtrak (along with a few others that don't send many surveys). I also do lots of paid-to-read sites. I won't get rich but it's extra money toward our trips.

Thanks for the suggestions. One more question though. How long would you say it takes you to respond to the surveys weekly, and how much on a weekly or monthly basis would you estimate that your earn on average? Do they send you checks by mail or do they pay some other way?

By the way, how do you setup the display at the bottom of your post that shows the # of days until your next DW visit. I can't seem to find instructions on it. If you know or could just point me to the right place to read the instructions, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

The number of surveys varies from day to day depending on your profile. Sometimes I have 4-5 a day other days nothing at all. I think the best one I do is partnership-plus. You do a survey once a month on the clothes you have purchased. You get 250 points. When you accummulate 3200 points you get $60. I would estimate maybe $20 a month from the surveys. I also do pinecone which you need to sign-up for through a banner (don't ask me how to find one - the sites vary). They send $5 for each survey and you can also get products to evaluate.

As for the countdown timer. Check the technical board. There is a site to generate the code. Then you copy the code and paste it in your profile under signature line. I think they have a thread there explaining (better than I can) how to do it.

DO NOT pay to get into survey sites. It's completely unnecessary. You can go to volition.com and get lots of survey sites, or check out the rewards board on this site for lots of help links and information.

I was wondering what sites to go to for the "paid to read". Also, how much do they pay?
Thanks,
Gina
