Survey I received from DCL Today

Hi Disboards DCL community.
I thought the survey I received today from DCL was interesting. My Wife and I were booked on the Magic for 8-31 / 5 night out of Port Canaveral
but canceled that cruise to do a 3 night on the Wish with our two daughters in a separate stateroom for 8/29. We did the Disney Visa Card promotion for the Wish Cruise.
The general basis of the survey was about our interest in the Visa Card promotion. Questions such as "would you have booked this cruise if the discounted rate didn't exist plus the offer". There were a lot of other questions including "did you cancel another cruise to do this offer" There wasn't a place to really note that yes we did but are paying more due to bringing our daughters etc.. I think the line of questions I found most interesting was related to when we booked the VISA offer and if we would have booked it earlier if it had a 15% discount plus the $250 offer. It made me wonder while taking the survey if Disney is considering through feedback if they may do this type of promotion earlier as opposed when things go guaranteed rate to generate interest in the Wish or other itineraries that is experiencing slow bookings.

I got the same survey today, but mine was geared toward the 30% off placeholder promotion. Sounds like the exact same questions were asked in both.

The survey I received was focus on the excursions we took or didn’t take. One question on placeholder.

We got an entirely different survey—long with emphasis on what information we would like before the cruise, how far ahead & on what platform (email, app, etc.)

Same survey about our upcoming Wish cruise. Would I have booked it without the discount (restricted GT rate) and Disney Visa promo? I was honest and said I absolutely ONLY booked it due to the discounts.

Follow up question on what I would have done if they didn't offer that discount (like would I have gone to WDW instead or another ship)? I said no.

We have a Sept Magic cruise. The Wish one works as a nice side by side but I would not have booked it if they did not have both the onboard credit and 30% OGT rate. Same questions as you with different %s off mentioned, or just the onboard credit. I was pretty firm in my answer that it took BOTH to make me book. Hopefully others are giving similar feedback.
