Surrey bike at the boardwalk

Has anyone rented a surrey bike at the boardwalk? What are the particulars? Where to rent? How much? Was it fun? We have to adults and 6 and 3 y-o. Thanks!

You rent the bikes on the Boardwalk near the Boardwalk Hotel! It is a lot of fun! We rented the six seater - I think it was about $20.00 (for a half hour). It was my husband and I, my brother, two teenagers and a 6 yr old! My little one sat in the front and rang the bell!!

I think we made it around the lake twice - and let me tell you - its harder than you think!!! Of course, we were laughing so hard - when we were coming around by the Swan/Dolphin, there is a little incline - and yeah, that was us that needed a little push to make it!!!

We had a great time riding though, and I would highly recommend the surrey bikes for an afternoon of fun!!!

We did the surrey bikes a couple of years ago with three 14 yo girls!! And, yes, we were also laughing so hard around Swan/Dolphin we almost didn't make it up the incline!! It was so much fun and I am looking forward to doing it again next trip.

We made it around twice. There are different size bikes to fit all groups. Two thumbs up from us!!

Magic2000 - Sounds like us! I sat in the back and let my eldest DD do the driving. I didn't care how much time we had left - two times around was enough for me.

It is definitly fun but it is work!

Does anyone besides me think that having those on the Boardwalk is abit too dangerous? I stayed at the Yacht Club this past May and dern near got run over by those things several times. There just seems to be to much foot traffic for those to be riden on the Boardwalk..
