I'm so envious. My husband told me earlier and I'm kicking myself for not booking our vacation just a few days earlier. This happened when Johnny Depp was there last time, too. It's always right before we take a trip and if it had been 1 or 2 days later, we could have seen it in person. Congratulations! It's honestly a once in a lifetime memory. I had the pleasure of seeing Mark Hamill at D23 this year and he seems like such a cool guy.

So jealous! I'm such a huge Star Wars fan (I still have poster board lightsabers I made on my door that have been up there ever since the 20th anniversary of A New Hope... So they're 20 years old now, lol!). I don't even know how I would have reacted, but I probably wouldn't have even had the frame of mind to take any pictures, that's for sure!

Yeah, my friend saw that too! I’m shown (from the side) at 6 seconds-3rd Row, all the way on the side with a pony tail!


It’s interesting that a lot of what he said didn’t make it in the video! I also watched 2 of the full videos from different rides and neither got as much interaction as us, which was pretty cool! I’m wondering if we were the first group and he was still so excited too?

Will do! People are always trying to find fault with fun experiences! One of the videos on YouTube did appear that the vlogger knew something was going to happen, but on our ride it was definitely totally random-everyone had been in line for the ride and it was just chance we got sent to that gate!

No kidding on people always trying to claim it was fake! For me, the hilarious thing was I was standing at the kitchen island while the girls were eating a snack tonight and I saw the video in my FB feed. I totally gasped and go, "OH CRAZY!!!! SOMEONE IN THIS VIDEO..." and then remembered that DH and the girls don't know we're going to DL in two weeks and therefore don't know that I have been planning anything on Disboards. I just trailed off and recovered with, "Look! Luke Skywalker was riding on Star Tours!!!" I can't wait to tell them once we get there.

That video is so cool. Glad we were able to see you in it!
