Surprising SO's?

There are so many threads that talk about surprising their kids with Disney trips, but not as many for significant others. So I am curious, have you ever surprised your wife, husband, bf, gf or fiancee? Let's hear it!

This is for my ulterior motives since I am surprising my husband for our second anniversary, and although he suspects something is going on (i.e. a quick one day getaway or something), he has no idea I am talking him to Disney! (for the first time ever! ) So excited, so have to talk to fellow DISers to make sure I dont explode.

I didn't surprise DH, but he surprised me! That's how I went on my first solo trip. There was one day left on one pass years ago, and I made some off-hand remark about going back by myself to use it. Little did I know he took me seriously. It was over Mother's Day weekend, and he let me know on Easter by giving me an Easter Basket, filled with all my confirmations for the trip. I'm glad he surprised me with a few weeks notice-enough time to plan and get excited, but not enough time to wait anxiously.

That's great! I am also debating when to surprise my hubby. Since I pack for him anyway, I have a feeling he won't be too upset if he didn't have too much time to prepare.

But since he still has a half day at work before we leave, I was thinking of maybe waking him up with mickey shaped pancakes in the morning so that he has the afternoon to be excited. Can't wait!
