Surprising kids with a WDW vacation, how?

We're going with our 4 yr yr old in Oct.

We plan on waiting until we are driving into Disney to tell him.

We figure up to then, we can just tell him "we're going for a ride." and "we're going for a plane ride!" and "Look! We're on vacation..let's go to the hotel." and then "Surprise!!! WDW!"
