Whenever I see the Disney commercials of families taping the surprise trips, I tear up. I'd love to hear some stories and see pictures if you have them.
When DD was 2 (2 weeks shy of 3, planned so she would be free), we surprised her the morning of our trip. She was SO excited, talking about princesses despite the early morning hour! It was the first time she said specifically "I'm so excited!!!". That excitement continued throughout our week!
We have a Fantasty cruise booked for 4/2012 which the kids know about. DS adores Disney Jr and says all the time "I want to go there" when he sees Mickey Mouse clubhouse commercials. DD, every time, patiently tells him "Chase we're going on the cruse next April and you will see Mickey then". They are both going to FLIP OUT next month when we wake them to go to the airport.
DS loves Little Einsteins and Jake and will beyond himself to actually meet them. We also booked BBB for both kids the afternoon we arrive. I am so excited to share all the surprises we have in store. I've ordered a couple special things from etsy for them as well, including a fancy but summery Cinderella dress as I think it'll be too hot for the BBB costumes.
