Surprising DW with a free trip to Disney(New 12-16 Pg 52)were back

We drove past Lafayette on our way to Indy this past weekend. Maybe we passed each other! The camper looks really cool. That is my idea of camping (I am not into sleeping on the ground). Parker is so cute! He is going to love Disney!!

camping is great, so peacful and relaxing...you should try it in a cabin first then go from there.

this past weekend we were in pokagan state park in ft wayne area, the weekend before was lafayette...we tent camped last year, but it was not bad, the air mattress was about 3 feet tall.

Love the camper!! It looks so cozy. My husband always talks about buying one, but I won't let him. We do tents. That is looking kind of apealing though.

Thank you to everyone that congratulated me on my new job. I am now a disney cast member! Today is my last day at this pediatrian job then I have training next week at the store. I just ordered my name badge and shirt yesterday. I'm excited and I know DH is too! It will be nice to have DH home to watch Parker and not worry about getting a babysitter.
The trip is going to be here before we know it and we cannot wait to have Parker see the characters. He saw Smokey the Bear at the campground we stayed at last weekend and he went straight to his arms and had the biggest smile on his face. It was very cute, and a glimpse at how he is going to act when he sees Mickey and the crew.
I have him watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse everyday and his face lights up everytime Mickey is on the screen. He even laughs at parts like he knows whats going on.

Congrats on the job. I told your DH that I always wanted to work in a Disney store when all my kids finally got into school full day and guess what, two of them close to us closed

we are finally under 2 months, it is getting so close we can not wait.

things will start to pick up around here, there will be more stuff to report on and i hope that you guys stick around till the trip gets here.

well our new camper finally came in, and i have a few pictures to share with you all. we will be taking this to disney some time, but not this coming trip.

the first night camping in the trailer we went to a state park around purdue university.

and parker ws geting his books read to him before bed time.

in the morning when we woke up, he looked so peacful we had to take a picture.

during the night we heard a pack of wolves around us howling and talking to each other, they were on one side of the campground, then about a half hour later, we heard them on the other side of the campground.

we went to visit candis brother at purdue on saturday, and put parker in a fountain, dont worry he did not get wet

then after dinner it was time to play horse ride on grandpas leg.

smokey the bear was coming around the campground to see hte little kids, and it was great u should have seen parker with him, he was staring athim, and laughing, and touching him, and holding his finger. he did such a good job and was not scared at all. he is going to do so good with the characters in disney.

he came back around and he met him again

we went again last weekend, and i will share those pictures in a little while..he looks great in hisnew hat that the other grandparents bought him.

Me and DH used to tent camp before we got married then one time it rained he slept in his truck and I slept in the camper with his aunt, uncle and kids. We never went again. I would love to buy a small camper to start out with. What kind do you have? I know it's a pop up right but what brand I guess I should ask. Parker looks cuter and cuter each time you post a picture. He will love the characters so that is a plus.

we wanted something small enough that we could pull with our suv and still have a great time,
we love it, but i have grown up camping so we are really excited to go on many more trips, and we want to take parker to see tons of stuff growing up, i loved it as a kid, went to 42 states when i was younger.

and the best thing is he lovees the outdoors, we go on hour walks and he does not say a word, just stares at everything

Your camper is so nice. Looked like Parker had no problem with it! I've got a freind from Lebanon, IN that loves to camp and hike. She likes Prophetstown. I've never heard any wolves, lots of coyotes though - at my house!

I think my kids would love camping as well. I would do a tent to try it out for a weekend trip maybe but I don't know about DH doing the tent thing again. When we go to Disney next year we are actually renting a RV from someone down in FL and staying Fort Wilderness. So I'm really excited about that.

Wow! I just spent the last two days at work reading your thread. That is so awesome you surprised your wife with a trip. Parker is the cutest little boy. You will absolutely love Christmas time, my DH and I were there last year at that time on our honeymoon and loved that time of year. Can't wait to hear more about your trip and see more pictures of that precious boy.

we like it, but if yo uthink that is a great camper, i will have to show you pics of my dads, he has a 40 footer with bunk beds, ceiling fans, 3 flat screen tvs, the works, even has a seperate fridge outside so you dont have to go in to get food and drinks.

disney for this year is paid in full, called yesterday and paid it off....now i just have to wait for the credit card bill, and i can get my disney dollars off of my disney visa, i think we have about 75 dollars on there to redeem

i also just got another 25 gift card from sushine rewards, so that makes my total 250 from there thisyear...and the gift card design has changed, it is really cool has some raised parts, i will take apicture and show you guys shortly.
