Surprising DW with a free trip to Disney(New 12-16 Pg 52)were back

Hi Dan!!!:wave2:
Plans sound great!!! You just brought back memories when Nova would fall asleep in my arms.:cloud9: Boy, I miss that sometimes.:sad1:
candi loves it, and says she will cry when he is to big to sleep in her lap

Your first day sounds great! I'm hoping for a Red Eye in March, stay at MCO Hyatt, then head over to the resort and a park the next day - more days at Disney!
i have always wanted to take the overnight one to disney, but dont know how that would work with a little guy, well at least take a flight toge there at like 7 in the morning sowe have all day to do stuff.

Dan the pictures of you and Candi are great. We stayed at the All Star Music (so-so) and also the All Star Movies (loved it). Your plans for your first day sound great. I love that you guys will have matching sweatshirts, I'm going to try and talk DH into that when we go next year.

i hope to get a zip up one, but not sure if i will find one that i like enough.

The first day plans look great! I saw a lot of really cute sweatshirts when I was there (regular sweatshirts and hoodies). I can't wait to see your review of Trails End. Does Candi scrapbook? I am pretty sure I remember that from one of your TR's. I love to scrapbook and Disney trips are so fun to do. You are going to have so many pictures of Parker's first trip. He is going to love it!:)

I will do the happy dance with you Dan cause I think our trips start the same day..............:cool1: :cool1:  :yay: :dance3: :donald: :dance3: :yay:  :cool1: :cool1:

thank you.

Yay! :cheer2: :woohoo: Do you have a trip count down calendar?
we talked about it last night, and decided to not do one, it would take us to long to go and get all the stuff, then it would be like 20 days left till we go, and did not think it would be worth it.

but for the next trip we will for sure do one.

Well some things have changed a little bit, but, i will just list them here.

on the first day, we are scheduled to go to Trails end buffet, we were talking last night while going to bed, and have decided that if the buffet does not look good to us that night or if we want something else, then we are going to get one of the pizzas that they have at that location and eat it on the porch of the trails end buffet, it is nice to sit out there.

or we can take it to the chip and dale sing along and eat there...

now back to day number 3....we dont have anything planed or reservations so it will be a sort of fly by the pants day.

if it is nice weather we are going to go to BB but if not, then we will save that for thursday, we have 1 day for the water parks left, and want to use them up this trip so our tickets will be all gone for next time...since on the new tickets you get the number of days in the water parks as the park days, which would be 10 for us.

so either way, if we do go there, then we will wake up early and hit hte park when they open...do all the stuff we want and play with parker in the kiddy area, and have lunch there...

since we want to see all of the resorts, also on the first night, we are planning on touring all of the MK resorts in that area...not sure if we can

we really want to try and visit every resort on this trip, so we are thinking about going to espn for dinner, or one of hte Counter areas at another resort around the epcot area...we can knock out boardwalk, swan, dolphin, and beach club all this night...maybe even get some ice cream at the ice cream shop and the beach club...

i want to try the kitchen sink, but might have to save that for when we go there with my parents in 2 years, not sure that the wife and i can polish that off.

after dinner, we will see what time it is and if parker is doing well... if so, then we will try and go to another resort and see there decorations...i am thinking maybe the all star ones..but we will see.

more than likely we will save the rest of our resort viewing for thursday when we have all day to look at everything.

more coming soon, thank you for reading.

:surfweb: :goodvibes

Sounds like a great 3rd day. Seeing all the resorts decorate will be great for sure

I thought Trails End was pretty good. But eating pizza on the porch sounds nice and relaxin, too:goodvibes

It is hard to figure out what to do with a little one. If he is a good sleeper, he may sleep while you're flying, and that would be great - you won't have to entertain him as much.

Oh, I think Parker will love looking at all of the decorations! It will be so fun to see it through his eyes!

Your plans sound great! We are wanting to do some "resort hopping" too! In fact, we were thinking of doing a "resort hopping dining tour." But everyone on the DIS has kind of "dissed" alot of the resort eateries, so I went back to what we know we want to eat, and we'll just check them out.

Oh, and if you don't get the Kitchen Sink - get the No Way Jose! :thumbsup2 Back in 1997 it took 7 of us to eat it and we couldn't finish it. I think it's much smaller now.

Day 3 plans look great. I like the pizza idea. Kind of like your own picnic. I really want to do the resort touring idea. You are doing it during the perfect time of year.:santa: I can't wait to see the pictures. The Kitchen Sink looks like it would be a lot of fun to attempt.:thumbsup2

thank you, we are excited to see them all, one way or another...

when we used to stay at FW and get the pizza to take back to the camper, we would ride the bus, and hte drivesr would always not open the doors and say that we had to share with them before we got off.

we really hope that he does fall asleep since he will be up for a few hours before that and that would be about his morning nap time...and he likes to cuddle up on candis lab and get little.

i think i might need more video camera tapes to get it all on video.

we are really excited to resort hope, there are some we have never been to before, and can not wait to see them.
no way jose huh, sounds like a challange to me.

yep, and it is some good left overs later that night then.
:thumbsup2 popcorn::

Hi Dan!! Your plans sound great! its getting closer!!:cool1:

I cant wait for the Trip Report and see Parkers pictures of him with the characters!!

Hey Dan. I'm right there with you. We will arrive at WDW on Sunday the 7th also. We are driving down most of the way on Saturday, then only have a short distance left for Sunday. It will be here before we know it. I'm actually thinking about putting my Christmas tree up next weekend since we will miss almost 2 weeks in December. This is the fun part. The trip is paid for, the plans are made - now if we can just keep them and not switch them around to much. I'm enjoying your report.

Your plans look good Dan. Pizza sounds like a good alternative. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be partaking of any WDW pizza any time soon due to the "incident" at the waterpark.:lmao:

25 days now. WOOOOOO!!!

Seeing all the resorts will be great.
They do these awesome chocolate/gingerbread decorations in alot of them. The Boardwalk/Beach & Yacht Club/Contemporary & Grand Floridian stand out in my mind. Each resort is decorated different & in keeping with the style of the resort. So beautiful.
Here's a picture of my favorite-these were at the Beach Club.
