Surprising DH and DS at Disney, which option is better?

We are going next spring to WDW, it will be DH, DS (4), Grandma, Grandpa and me.
I will be officially celebrating the start of a new (dream) job and wanted to do something extra as surprise for DH and DS (Grandma and Grandpa's surprise is the trip, which will be their Xmass present).

DS is into Pirates, so I had originally planned to do the Pirates and pals fireworks show, and a date night dinner for DH which I narrowed down to either Jiko or Nacoossee's.

Then it dawned on me that the cruise for 4 adults and one child will be quite expensive. Since no-one will really care much about the cruise except DS, I thought that we can do Pirate's league instead and I could surprise DH with Victoria and Albert's (DH is a foodie).
Which option will you choose?

If no one else will enjoy the cruise, I would pick Pirate's League for your DS. My DS has done it twice and really enjoyed it! You could pair that with the Pirate Adventures (which are free with park admission. The "recruiting office" is very close to Pirate's League) and the Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow show. Your DS will get his fill of pirates and it won't break the bank like the cruise would.

V&A is very special, but Narcoosee's and Jiko are great, too! It really depends on the experience you want and how much you want to spend. You really can't go wrong with any of the signatures at WDW.
