Hi Guys,

So as this holiday was booked by me, and OH isn't too bothered about Disney either way (Well he enjoys Epcot's selection of drinks.... ;) ) I wanted to book something special for us that he'll enjoy? Can anyone suggest something OH who will be 31 might enjoy?

I've thought about Keys to the Kingdom tour but that really would be just for me, he's not that interested. Its doesn't have to be at Disney, Im willing to hire a car for a couple of days and explore other areas in Florida!

He loves food... All kinds meat! So I'm going to hopefully get us a reservation at Le Cellier one night as I think that would be nice, as well as Cali Grill for some good food.

He loves surfing, and the beach and things like that & animals so Im sure there is something out there Im just not sure whats best to book! Has anyone done anything that they really enjoyed that was just a bit different?

xx

If you want a good steak I would pick Yachtsman over LeCellier. LeCellier is nice but Yachtsman is better :)

Does he like driving? There is the driving experience at the speedway - they have some nice road cars like an Aston Martin.

Otherwise how about a trip to the coast? You can go to the west coast and tie it in with a trip to BG.

It's a nice run to Clearwater.

A nice beach, and bird watching opportunities .

Space Coast and a visit to cape Kennedy?

Coach trip to Miami and Everglades?

We are going parasailing on Bay Lake this year. Sammy Duvall Watersports also have other activities if that's his cup of tea.

Thanks guys!

Elise I will look into Yatchsman too! We're staying at BC so maybe we might sneak in both if he's lucky! I'll check out the menu for Yatchsman later!

Parasailing sounds like good fun 2Tiggis! How did you go about booking that? Online?

I love the idea of a zip wire & a drive to the coast too! All these great things I hadn't thought of!

I've seen the wild Africa trek before and we nearly booked it on our last trip, it's still on the cards but I just don't think it's worth the cost!
Thanks all x

If he likes his food - and meat in particular - then I would suggest a meal at Texas de Brazil just at the end of I-drive. Google their website to see what they are all about but I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
Old Town is also a good night out - especially if you plan it around one of their car rallies (they used to be on Friday and Saturday nights but I'm not sure if that is still the case). Again a quick google search will help you with all you need to know.

enu for Yatchsman later!

They have a facebook page with their contact details as well as a website but they said no need to book too far in advance as you can usually get it on the day. Only reason I haven't booked yet is that Groupon Orlando regularly offers 40% off or similar and I'm waiting to see if the next one extends to cover our dates. Failing that, make sure you google for one of the many discount codes which you can print and take to them.

You can do a photo package as well with their onboard photographer for $25 extra and they give you the SD card with the pics on at the end. We will be doing that as it's my birthday celebration and would like to have the pics :)

A few others were waiting for discounts so as soon as I see one I will post it. When are you going?
