Surprise waiting for us

We arrive on Saturday afternoon---we had several issues with our reservation. In the course of straightening things out ( mostly bad info from CM)--the CM from guest services said that when we arrived at our resort there would be a surprise for us. We are Staying at POFQ--first time here--really excited. We usually stay at POP or WL.

This was over a week ago and it is driving me crazy. I want to know what it is. Anyone out there ever have a surprise waiting for them? I figure it is probably something like a snack pack or a pin or something. What does everyone else think?

That would be way cool--I was kinda hoping for a visit long fast pass. Probably as unlikely as an upgrade to a Deluxe.

Yep, one year our surprise was an autographed photo of Mickey and Minnie. Surprises from Disney can vary, so before you get your heart set on it being an upgrade or something of that level know it can vary widely.

All that said - I'm sending some extra pixie dust hope to you too!

During out last stay at Disney's Paradise Pier Resort at Disneyland we were surprised with balloons and chocolate dipped mickey mouse shape rice crispy treats and a signed card from the different characters....maybe you will get something along those line. Either way enjoy your trip!

I am expecting Mickey Rice Krispie treats or something along those lines--I just like to dream--isn't that what Disney is all about. I really am just hoping the space junk hits the earth before we have to take off Saturday and that the sun shines at least 50% of the trip.---I am easy. And after all I do get to spend a week at Disney with my favorite people.

Don't worry abpu the Satellite if you are in North America-NASA "says" it won't fall there.

While the upgrade is a longshot,there was a very recent Thread from a Guest who was upgraded to AKL from a Value Resort for no reason at all except Pixie Dust.

My son got a free t-shirt after he threw up at the Plaza Restaurant! Now that's pixie dust! Too bad he didn't get pants, too! We tried to buy some, but they didn't have any in his size. Poor little guy had to be strolled out of the park in his new little t-shirt and diaper. He over did it on the milk and cookies for dessert. I don't know if I could ever eat there again. Our fellow diners probably feel the same way!
