SURPRISE TRIP - HOW do you DROP THE BOMB?

Okay, I've changed my mind! I think I AM going to wait until the morning of. Our flight isn't until the afternoon, so I can wake the kids up early that morning with a special delivery. (Make make Mickey Mouse pancakes first?!) And then they will have time to watch the video, etc. before we leave for the airport.

We drove to Destin for a couple of days & they thought that was our vacation. When we left, we never said we were going home, just that it was time to go. So, they never suspected A THING!

When we were about 2 hours from WDW, we told them we would have a surprise for them if they took a nap. Luckily, they both fell asleep & woke up about 30 min before we got there. I have to admit, it got a bit tricky, the closer to WDW we got. I had to strategically hold up the map a couple of times!

When we got close to the entrance, I made them close their eyes & then I put "the surprise" in their laps. It was t-shirts I'd designed for all of us that said "SURPRISE! WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!" They opened their eyes to see the shirts, then saw the WDW entrance. I caught it all on tape & it was the most amazing thing EVER!!!! It was priceless. (You can tell, in the pics, that DS was still very sleepy)

Our plan... but that could easily change...

I gave all of this to my Uncle who is a techy guy, and he said no problem, hopefully he can get it done...

We will leave home in the morning, telling DS10 he can skip school since we have an appointment in the cities. It's almost 4 hours to drive to the airport. We will put in a DVD which was made by my Uncle. It is an older Mickey movie...30 minutes into the movie the screen will go black, then it will break in with Phineas & Ferb clip "I know what we're gonna do today" and then it will read... "We're going to Walt Disney World!"

OK, this is what we are planning, but we'll see if it really works out!!!
