I am so excited I am about to explode. We have been planning this trip for a year.

Me- 31 year old Disney junkie. I love everything Mickey. Anyone who knows me can tell you how addicted I am to the Mouse.

DH-33- Converted to Disneymania during his first trip to Disney on our honeymoon 8.5 years ago. He claims we go because of me but I know the truth. He is in love with a mouse too.

DD-6- She will turn 7 during the trip. She is truely her mother's child. All things Mickey is perfect with her. She watches any and all documentaries about Disney.

DD-4- A Girly Girl. She is a true princess. She loves the fact that she is named Jasmine. It just works!

We are not going to tell them where we are going. We are going to drop off baby brother (3) with grandparents and drive 8 hours to Disney. I can't wait to see their face when they realize where we are. We will spend 3 days in WDW. My oldest will celebrate her birthday in the castle. On Thursday we will pack up as if we are heading home. We will drive to "see" the Disney cruise ship. We will then go on a 3 night cruise on the Wonder. A set of their godparents and grand godparents will join us on the ship. The next 3 months are going to drag on. I am trying to think of things I can do to get ready and make the time go by faster. Today I went to Walmart and bought some space bags. :rotfl: Every little bit helps!

The Disboards are a great help.

Everytime we see a Disney commercial the girls squeal and talk about how they want to go. I have to leave the room to keep from telling them. :yay:
I just might win the best mom award in this house.

WOW what a wonderful surprise for your kids! Have a wonderful trip! Can't wait to read all about it. :)

Oh how fun! That is very exciting and I wish you all the best keeping that secret! I know how hard it is! For our December trip that we just took I booked it Feb 2006 and kept it quiet all year till the night before we left! It was hard but very worthwhile, even if we got a reaction we weren't quite expecting. In the end it was all good!

Looking forward to your trippie down the road!

That is so cool. My sister and her family is going in May but they are not going to tell the girls until that morning. She is going to wake them, tell them to get dresses and they are going to WDW. :cool1:

:goodvibes Thanks so much for sharing the KOTS thread! I am doing a suprise trip as well this summer! Goodluck on keeping it a suprise! I have to walk out of the room everytime we see a Disney commercial and they say :( I wanna go back before 08 that is just to far away! :rotfl:

This waiting is not easy. I do an internal happy dance every time they look at one of those wishes commercials and get all excited. They want to go sooooo bad. I need April to come after February instead of after March. I have even started plotting how to surprise my husband with a trip next January for his graduation.

I found a Cinderella dress on Disney.com website last month. I waited too late. It is gone. I have placed a bid on ebay for a dress for my 7 year old. I thought she might like to wear it on her birthday. I plan to wrap up the dress and let her open it the morning of her birthday. She is too big for the walmart/target cinderella dresses. If I don't win the ebay dress, I will just wait until I get there. I'm sure I will find one there.
