hi everyone ive been reading about these magic pixie dust certificates my neice who is 10 will be coming with me and she would be thrilled to get one but id like it to be a surprise and ideas
Not sure this is the same but I know sometimes at Character Breakfasts if you are celebrating something you get a Magical Moment certificate. We got one at CRT on our Wedding Day
We've taken DS and DD upfront on the monorail many times (must be about 7/8) and we have never gotten one of these, just the co-pilots license. Maybe we were just unlucky?

They always have the co pilots licence there.. they are about the size of a business card so you wouldnt necessarily notice them unless you knew what you were looking for. There is a card holder on the wall in the front carriage.
We have sat up front lots of times and only once been offered a licence.. we now always ask.. and always get one!!
there are certain events that always seem to get MM certificates..
we have always had one starting the epcot fireworks, and they always give them out at AK at the tarzan show if you get to be King or Queen of the Jungle for the day. With both these activities.. get there a little early and ASK if someone has already been chosen. My lovely but direct american friend is always volunteering my son for stuff.. and the CM's dont bat an eyelid.. they just seem pleased they dont have to go looking for someone!
I think the Magical Moments certificates are random. My mum got one from the staff members in Disney Quest for being cute apparently (my mum is 70 and full of beans and can charm the socks off people ). I got a Magical Moment when I was standing in the queue to pay for my photo from Splash Mountain. There was a cm who was just standing around being ignored by everyone so I smiled at her, as you do, and she came over to talk to me - I thought she was carrying out a survey. Anyway, she asked me to name the film with the little elephant in which I got answered and then she gave me a certificate and I also got the Splash photo for free. The moral of this story - smile at everyone, people may think you're a lunatic but who cares
