Our original plans for this summer got adjusted and with 6 weeks notice we had to find something to do.
We had flights to Barcelona, putting us on mainland europe and car hire with a big company so we could take it over frontiers.
We then came up with a plan to try several amusement parks in France with 6 days in Disney in the middle.
We went to Walabi Aquitaine, Futurescope and Nigloland the last of these is in the champagne region where there are some great outlet centres.
From there we went to Disney and on back to Andorra and Salou to Port Aventura.
The plan for the holiday was to try things we haven't done before so we were less time in the park and more time doing other things.
We tend to go in early december when some of the things are shut and it is cold outside or a weekend in May but that is for pin trading.

OMG Nikki, I haven't even started my trippie yet. Hoping to rectify it next week when my quiz is over.

Looking forward to reading yours. :goodvibes

Day 1
Characters.
Me 38
DH long suffering patient nondisney person
DD 12
DS 13
I was awake very early, I am the biggest Disney fan in our house after 2 hours it was 8 am so I woke everyon else up and we went for breakfast. The children were both tired and grumpy I cant remember why but thats what my notes say so it must have bbe that way.We collected the cases and checked out of the hotel (Novotel Airport Troyes)We then drove in towards Paris and followed the signs for Disney, after I had directed us wrong once we found DCL easily. This was the first time we had stayed there and I was surprised how far it was away. The cabin wasn't ready and the plan was then to go and buy 2 towels. I had managed not to pack any. Then I would go to the parks and wander and DD and DS would go swimming in the pool onsite.
I was looking for some pins which had been released the previous day and in my search wandered through all the pin shope in both parks and all the shops ion the Lake Disney.
Two things that really shone out were the dancing with Mickey and Minnie in the NPBC which I will try to upload as I have it on the camera and playing with Pluto in the shop in Sequoia Lodge. He was dancing and playing with an umbrella I had loads of hugs.

After I had wandered about 4 hours DH collected me and we went back to the cabin. I know it is really and covered caravan but was really surprised how well it is done. each lodge has its own parking place and we planned to do an activity trail and ride and walk in the woods.
The children had unpacked whilst we were gone and we hen went back for another swim.on our way there the children decided to go and see the animals and DH and I went to the Jacuzzi for and hour.
We then changed and ate onsite. i had booked this in the morning as I had read it was needed. We were given a table and then went to queue for food, By the time we returned with our food the table had been occupied and my DD was in a panic. they found us another table but i am not sure where the people had come from as you need to be seated before you can get anywhere near the cafeteria queue.Although it was cafeteria style it was served to order so it was fresh. Although I planned to save receipts I am missing lots so I dont know what we paid but i was pleasantly surprised.after dinner we bought some sorbet in the shop and went back to the cabin to eat it. It was raining and rained all night.
