surprise snow day!

Hardly any snow....but the 2-3" inches we got fell from about 3 AM on and it is wet and slushy with black ice...lots of accidents. We had a 2 hour delay that went to a close.
We only have 2 days left and a lot of winter! It's been rainy and above normal temps since Christmas; hope that comes back.

We didn't close but had a 2 hour delay
the bad part was the local news channel I watch had tech issues and didn't have them listed and I didn't check the other channels so I got the kids up normal anyway

No snow here just ICE

We didn't get either, just rain, rain and more rain, with big winds of course.

Well, we did get 2-3 inches plus ice overnight (still falling lightly now), several accidents this morning ~ but in these parts, that does not make for a snow day. I did have to leave a little early today (to take the kids to school) though since they hadn't salted any of the roads until I was almost home

I really do enjoy the snow though, it's so pretty outside now!!

2 hour delay here too. My DD is in AM kindergarten so it is a snow day for her.
