We have honeymooners arriving at POFQ next month. I would love to have "newlywed mouse ears" and perhaps some wine delivered to their hotel room as a surprise but I'm not sure where to start. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks for your help!

Yikes... I know I saw a post somewhere about having things delivered to the rooms outside of the florist. Drats.... it wasn't more than a week or so ago either. And it included the things like the mouse ears, etc. Maybe calling the hotel concierge? When we checked into the GF for our wedding, there was a mystery wine and cheese basket for us. We are still unsure of who we should thank for it...

Yes, the disneyflorist.com gets great reviews. I'd go with them. I especially like their "unique designs" which you can click on at the left at the very top of the list.

Good luck and what a thoughtful thing to do! :flower3:

I had something very specific in mind that I wanted to send to a friend and her family when they visited in December. Nothing on the Disney Florist website was what I wanted. I called them and they were GREAT at doing exactly what I wanted. I was thrilled with their helpfulness and customer service.

The only thing to know is that they will not have it in the room when the guest arrives. It will be delivered after they check in. ALso, alcohol has to be signed for so it gets a little tricky there as far as 'suprises' go. My friend stayed at WL and, even though the florist was great, whoever was in charge of getting the delivery done at WL was not so great. I finally had to call my friend and ask her to go to the front desk to ask for her package. Maybe you will have better luck on that end and since you know in advance, you can work with them to make it go more smoothly.

Our experience in this area was this past October. We were sending bride and groom hat and veil and 2 sets of golden ears to the Poly honeymoon suite. Months in advance we contacted conceirge service and they said no problem. Checked a couple of times after ordering and again, no problem. We arrived 3 days before honeymoon couple were to arrive after honeymoon cruise and when we checked in the conceirge said all was okay. We were billed for items and everything. Well, the couple arrive, we go to greet them at their suite, and nothing in the room. Peeved, I run down that buildings conceirge and she says she knew but thought it was taken care off. Figure they would bring them right away, wrong, not that evening nor the next day. Now I'm livid, grab our building conceirge and he says, what do you want me to do! Read him the riot act and headed to the main building to find a manager, got about the same reply from him with no idea where or if they would ever receive them. Back to my own conceirge and a new lady was there and overheard the previous conversation and she'll handle it cause that other kid was an ***, her words, elderly lady. Leaving our building to go to other building met a runner with package and I delivered it to the honeymoon couple. Later that evening we had a message on our phone saying they took off the cost of all the hats from our bill for the mix up. Point is, you never know what can happen to room gifts or how to plan.

Last year I ordered 3 name badges for my children from Gifts of a Lifetime and I found the service excellent! I can gladly recommend them. I asked that the 3 badges be engraved with their names and left at reception at Port Orleans FQ for when we checked in and they were there waiting for us, wrapped up nice too in colourful paper (I hadn't expected that!). Because I'm not the U.S. I wasn't sure if they'd take an order from me so I emailed them and there was no problem at all. Great customer service.

Their web address is www.giftsofalifetime.com - click on the link down the left of the page that says 'Personal Disney Shopper' - you'll see the Bride and Groom Mickey ears there for 29 dollars a set. As I say, I emailed them so if you don't see everything you want be sure to send them an email to ask if they'll get it for you.

Happy shopping!

To pepe of ohio,
I would be furious if that happened especially when they said there wouldn't be a problem. I'm glad it got sorted eventually, no thanks to the concierge, but still it shouldn't have been a problem in the first place. See my post above about Gifts Of A Lifetime (no, I don't work for them, lol :rotfl: ). If you ever want to order something for WDW again, I'd recommend this company very highly. :)

We were there for our honeymoon in October for 11 nights.... On the week after we got married, we walked into our room and on the bed was about 20 chocolate covered strawberries and a card that said Happy one week anniversary. I found out later that my mother called the WL and arranged it. Very nice suprise!
