Surprise on trip

Hi, I have been a long time fan but this is my first time posting on the forum!

I have planned a trip with my mother for the last week in October for the WL. I want to surprise her with something special, we have done some great dinners in the past at California Grill, Coral Reef, and Sanaa, but I want this to really stand out. She takes on a very relaxed touring plan not wanting to squeeze too much into one day. Any suggestions? I don't think any of the specialty tours are up her alley but any ideas at all will be great.

Welcome!!! A Dinner at a Signature Restaurant is a great Surprise. Also Afternnoon Tea at the Grand Floridian could be fun. MNSSHP could be an option, but you would need to Get Tickets Early, as you are going the last week of October. Food & Wine is another option. On Different Days of food & Wine they have different beer/wine tastings, concerts, celebrity chefs, IDK if your mom would be into any of that or not. Thats just my two cents, I'm sure you & your mom with have a great trip!!!

I've booked tickets for MNSSHP on Oct 26 and am very excited about that. I will look into the tea at the GF because that is definitely her speed. She's not a drinker so about half the Food and Wine fest things are out but I'm keeping my eyes peeled. Thanks for the suggestions.
