surprise childrens' gifts on arrival

I was wondering if someone out there could possibly help me.. We will be arriving at POR on Dec 8, with 4 yr old twins in our party. They absolutely adore the Princesses. Is there a way I could arrange to maybe have a special treat awaiting them in their room? Any suggestions?

On our 2001 trip, we were at Coronado Springs and it was my daughter's 5th b-day. I called ahead and asked if they could do something. They just asked me what her favorite character was (cinderella) and the day of her b-day and did the rest! We returned from one of the parks on her acutal b-day and there were helium balloons, a 5x7 glossy of Cinderella and a b-day card signed IN INK by Cinderella herself!!!!!!!You can also order a cake to be delivered to the room (extra charge $20??) but we just told the restaurant that night and they gave her a HUGE cupcake with whipped cream, sprinkles and a sparkler firing away on top for FREE!!!!
This trip it will be our son's 5th b-day and I am planning on doing the same. This time we will be at the BC and hopefully they do the program still.
It pays to ask!

Since it doesn't sound like you are celebrating birthdays, you can arrange things from some outside sites to have them delivered to the room. I am currently working with Pixie Gifts and have been really pleasantly surprised and pleased with the service. I have heard that WDW Florist will also do Princess baskets as well as Gifts of a Lifetime.

We are staying concierage so the staff was able to pick things up for us and have them waiting in the room. I don't think you can get this type of shopping service from the hotel prior to your arrival if you are not concierage.

www.cookiesbydesign.com can make baskets of cookies , flowers goodies, balloons etc. Also call Jane at www.giftsofalifetime.com and they can decorate your hotel room. Also try to have breakfast in the castle with the princesses or if booked already try The storybook breakfast in Norway in Epcot and Cinderella's gala feast at the Grand Floridian ( dinner) there is also a new program that is call my Disney Princess tea party for a limited time on select dates, i am not sure of the dates but you should call dining and see if it is available when you will be there.
