#Disney24 does make it seem like the leap day theory is the winner. Boo.
I am retracting my previous answer (that it is fantasyland related) since on the site it says the announcement will be made from Disneyland and that Disney Parks are celebrating like never before so the fantasyland is too WDW specific. Do all the parks usually have the same promotion?

On the Christmas Parade today, Maria Menounos kept on and on talking about a big announcement that will be made next week. She was talking so much (maybe too excited herself) that Mario Lopez had to intervene and ask her to quit yapping about the "big suprise". Maria did say that it will be something that Disney has never done before... so far we've been speculating on things that Disney has done in the past but what about the "never done"?
That supports the lame 24 hours on leap day rumor...
That supports the lame 24 hours on leap day rumor... As far as I know no Disney park has ever remained open for 24 hours. But if that's the much-hyped announcement I think it may just be Disney's most epic fail ever - all this buzz for an "event" that only effects one day, with less than 60 days advance notice!
What tweet? And who is Disney24?![]()
A tweet from @DisneyParks.
#Disney24 is not a "person". It is a Twitter "hash tag", used to tag similarly themed posts to make them easier to find. "Disney24" has something to do with the promotion, so the number 24 is important...![]()
Wow. If it really is the 24-hour thing? Worst.Promo.Ever.
I'm still holding out hope that it will positively impact my early February trip. You know...like free park hoppers or something. THAT I could use.
