Well, I'm finally back...not 100% yet, but at least up and around.
On Monday the 22nd I had an endometrial ablasion (thermal--if you want more info, just PM me) and a TVT Urethral Sling procedure. I'm very sore, but at least not lying flat anymore.
Anyway, it was a real downer for the Christmas holiday. I did eat off-plan, some mashed potatoes (just a 1/2 cup or so), but I did have a couple of my aunt's awesome butterhorn rolls...just couldn't resist.
I had some desserts, but mostly sugar free.
I think I'll show a definite gain, but I'm also feeling super huge and bloated from the surgeries. Hopefully that will just be temporary.
I'm only wearing sweat pants and I'm afraid my new, improved size 14s won't fit me when I'm ready to put them back on!
BTW, NO lifting over 10 pounds for 6 weeks (!) and nothing over 40 pounds for 3 months!!! I guess weight training is out for now! I'm hoping to be back on a treadmill by Monday at the latest!
As the anesthesiologist was ready to put me out, he told me to go to a happy place...I said I'm going to Disney World!!!!

to you, Carmen! It sounds like you've been through a lot the last few days. Try to take it one day at a time.
for a quick recovery and don't feel too bad if you see a gain. Almost everyone reports in with a gain after surgery.
