I don't think I've read anything on here about this place... Good or bad.. for breakfast. TIA

We just went in December & loved it! The food was good (not as good as Goofy's but still good) & the character interaction was wonderful! We took about 100 pictures here! lol We would go back in a heartbeat. Anything specific that I can answer for you?

You already did mostly lol. Was it a buffet or menu? Thanks

We didn't like it at all and will not be back. That was a year ago - at the time you could order off the menu or do the buffet.

Buffet only as far as I know. We went on a Tuesday morning & it was really quiet so we pretty much had the characters to ourselves. Stitch was sooooo funny but Mickey, Minnie, Goofy & Pluto were all awesome too.

Did you like the food?

Yeah...can't complain about anything. Goofy's had quite a bit more variety but everything was hot, tasted good & we left full. There is a trip report with a ton of pictures somewhere here. I'll see if I can dig it up for you. I used it to make our decision awhile back. In the meantime AllEars is only showing buffet & I copied & pasted the info here for you:

I'd love to see the trip report. Thanks so much!!!

I went in November and loved it.

We went with a group of friends Saturday morning.
Our picky eater went back for food three times, I guess that's the best recommendation I can give. ;) I liked the food at Goofy's better overall (they had a bigger selection), but what I ate at Surf's Up was delicious.

Great character interaction too.
At Goofy's (as much as I love it) sometimes it's hello, picture, signature, gone. But at Surf's Up characters came back to fool around with us.

I think I mentioned it elsewhere already. I did some drawings this year to get signed. The one of Stitch I did when my home soccer team was playing the big favorite of the league. Everyone expected them to lose, but they won. And each time they scored I was drawing one of Stitch claws. So whenever they are playing against stronger opponents now my father (a huge soccer nut) tells me "go and draw that blue thing!"

Stitch so got a kick out of the whole story. Showed me a little victory dance for the next game. He came back several times and even pretended to play soccer.

I was back a couple of days later when my room mate from Germany arrived and she was very happy there as well. She didn't really like the Lilo & Stitch breakfast menu, but she turned out to be a huge fan of the new items they introduced. She was so happy, she even took a picture with Stitch. Normally she doesn't go anywhere near him. :)

We have Lelo and Stitch 2, and she's seen that... but we don't have the first one so she probably hasn't seen it if she hasn't seen it with either of us.

I ate there at the end of September with a couple of girlfriends. We were an all adult trip that time, so I decided to be the "kid" of the group and do the activities (always letting the real kids go first and be in front). Stitch and Minnie came to our table several times.

The best thing was that we had allergies in our group. One friend is allergic to soy and onion. The other is allergic to beef and needs to be gluten free. I don't eat pork. The chef came to our table, walked us around the buffet showing us what things were safe for each of us, and then whipped up some gluten free pancakes that were delicious, from the way my friend consumed them. There was plenty of good choices for all of us. Some of the choices were very different fromm the other breakfast character meals, which was nice as the variety made it very appealing.

The Chef's at each restaurant are supposed to do this for those with food allergies. :) I know they did when we went with my BFF, she has to eat gluten free and it wasn't a problem at all. :) Disney is very good about food allergies.

Enjoy your visit to Surf's Up! We ate there when it was Lilo & Stitch's bfast, it was very good!

OMG!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I can't wait!!:banana::banana::banana::banana:

You're very welcome!!! :)
I totally agree with Vala about how wonderful it was that the characters came back to fool around with us. And we loved the fact that they get the kids up there dancing & surfing with the characters...my daughter who is extremely shy was even up there! We all turned into kids again (there were 4 adults in our party of 6) & had a blast!! :cloud9:

We ate there last week and it was FABULOUS! Best character interaction I have ever seen. We went at 7 on a Thursday. There wasn't much of a crowd, which was nice. The characters played hula hoops with my kids, did little dances, and such on top of the already scheduled dance and surf lessons every half hour. We were there for an hour and a half and my kids spent most of that time playing with the characters.

The food was very good too. Loved the avocado salad thing they had and lots of fresh fruit!

I went out with DD tonight and baught Lilo and Stitch because I didn't think DD had seen the first one and she warned me.. DONT LOOK AT HIS GREEN EYES!!! LOL so maybe she has seen it lol. We ended up buying sword in the stone and watching that one.. She thinks she is going to pull it out at DL this year hehe:goodvibes

The second movie has a LOT to do with Stitch's green eyes. The movie is called Stitch has a Glitch. Basically he didn't get fully "charged" before leaving his home planet so he's going crazy (the green eyes). That's what the whole movie is about.
