Is there a photopass photographer at the entrance to Surf's Up character breakfast? That will be a non-park day for us so we won't have the PP with our Maxpass that day. Trying to decide what to do about that. I've heard you can order photos to download individually, but can't find any info. Does anyone know how much each photo would cost? Thanks!

Yes, there is a Photopass person.

I don't know about downloads, sorry. Went on a park day and we had Maxpass.

We were fortunate to only do character meals on park days, so this wasn't an issue for us. I do see it as a hole in the current Photopass program and am curious what the answer is. It's not like you can buy MaxPass for the day if you aren't using a ticket or scanning into the park.

When they came around to our table last week, the only option they described was buying the prints for something like $37 which was crazy. I do believe that you get the prints plus the code to download when you purchase. We had already purchased MaxPass so they gave us the code when we logged into the app and showed that we had it for the day.

If you think you might purchase the prints in spite of the cost, be sure to ask for a number of shots out front (whole family, just kids, etc) because the download will include everything shot.

That's a good point. It might be worth it if the kids respond well and we get several good shots.

With PhotoPass, the cost of the prints goes from $37 down to $27. That's changed form the past. On our first big trip to DL in 2013, we hit this breakfast first thing on our trip. We bought the PhotoPass from the guy at the restaurant and they gave us the picture. But now, you have to pay for the picture on top of photopass.

When we were at Ariel’s grotto character meal they took a pic with my phone for me for the photo with Ariel so that is likely an option if you don’t mind the quality of the camera on you phone.
