Surfing lessons?

Has anyone taken the surfing lessons at Typhoon Lagoon? I'd appreciate any thoughts or tips. Also, how did you get there before the park opened if you didn't have a car?

Wow, there's been a lot of interest in the surfing program lately. I'll post a link below to my review from wdwig.com, which describes the lessons in detail. Regarding transportation, you'll need to hire a cab if you don't have a car. You'll need to arrive at the gates of Typhoon Laggon at around 6am for roll call(check with them for the exact time in the event that its been changed). It's very dark out at that hour and there's usually not a single soul around(a definite coffee moment-lol). You need to get there at the suggested time, otherwise once they usher guests in there will be no way for you to get inside if you arrive after the fact.
