Surfing excursion San Juan

Hello! Looking for a review or two on the surfing lesson excursion at San Juan. We have an 8 and 9 year old that love the idea of surfing lessons. Just curious if anyone has done this with kids around this age?

We are hoping to do snorkling/beach at St Thomas/St John so we'd like to do something different at San Juan. Unfortunately they are not old enough for horse back riding (though they have their own horse here at home) or ATV (though they've been 4wheeling for years) excursions so this seems our best option. The zip line seemed neat but again the age restriction wont allow for that trip.

So it's surfing or snorkel. Any recommendations or reviews?

I think the reason you have no responses is that none of the cruises that include San Juan have sailed yet. I would check and see when they start sailing there and ask again then.

I have it booked for December. Originally, the plan was to do it with my 8 year old. He informed me he does not want to. Thus, I may be the only adult doing it without a kid. We'll see. I've done wake boarding but never surfing.

We sailed this itinerary when it was first released, my daughter and husband did this excursion. My daughter would have been 8 then and absolutely loved it! It was a nice small group, great instruction and she was able to get up on the board more than once…

She still talks about it, we've never been able to find another excursion like it
