I have been thinking about this and I miss the lava wings. I was looking on my friends list and remember the closings at surferrat's room and all the funny we all would have. And I was just wondering where he was. Boy do i miss those days lol.

Funny, Lovethattink and I where talking about him the other night too. Wonder what happened to him. If you have gone into the VMK identity Protection Program. Please let one of your friends you trust here know so we know you are OK. I believe you are lurking among us. I know I have missed you to.

A friend of mine speaks to him on im. He was very ill for a long time but is doing better now. He said he misses everyone but has lost his password for his character and has not been able to return. Maybe someday he'll be back but not as Surferrat.
His family and health must come first.

Sorry everyone, Surf was one of my favorites too.

The Surf spot was where I met all my dis friends when I first started playing VMK. Surf was so sweet, and welcoming to all! The surf spot was a great place to hang out, especially at closing!

Yes he was. I was in the surf spot enjoying a sweet tea when a boy came in and say to me "hey your face is fat!" (Goofer had a chubby face back then ). Surf came to my rescue and told the boy "there will be none of that in here". Thanks Surf for being so sweet.

I too miss SurferRat. It was like going home there. You could always find a friendly face and a sweet tea. grouphug:: Sorry to hear he has been so ill.

I still lurk the boards in the very little free time I have. Summer is here and you would think that "surf" has been at the beach hanging out with his board and some lava wings!

Totally the opposite.....I have been working on a few projects at work...it is called what my boss says "work"......Whatever that means for a beach bum....But for those that know me the mental health field for kids is one "crazy" field to be in during the summer.......Kids are home during the summer and for some reason the parents forgot how to parent and think their kids need more therapy than ever...

Also...DD is swimming for two swim teams, 1 is a traveling team and the other is the city league.....some remember as cool swimgirl in the game....She has become a threat....as her friends call her.....to the 11-12 age group....She is swims from 7-9am in the morning and 6:30-8:30pm at night...Has local swim meets every Tuesday and Thursday night and Friday, Saturday and Sundays from Georgia to Southern Florida....

Her brother has started swimming so he has practice from 6:00-7:00 at a different pool......

So as you can see, my free time is spent...cleaning our pool, mowing the yard and some where in there a nice glass of scotch....

So...most I do is lurk, see how things are going and actually getting a chance to say hi to everyone!!!!! So HI!!!!!

I keep in touch with a few people but it is in spurts to let them know how life is going.....WHICH IS BUSY.....

hopefully one day soon.....I will be having a grand opening of the real "Surf Spot".....in the very near future (did I say I was working on a few projects) when DD has passed that all important age group of 11-12 year old swimmers!!!!!! (Junior Olympic stuff that swimmers need to meet before they can no longer do it anymore)....

So for now....you will find the "rat" at the pool for 6 hours cheering DD on for a total of about 4 min w/in those 8 hours staring at the PSP or reading a book the other 7 hours and 56 min...(Swim parents know what I mean)

So to close....

Places a few surferrat sweet teas, lava wings, GORGONZOLA Pizza's especially for my buddy Mousedude....and some surferrat special drinks on the bar for all my friends at the edge of the bar!!!!!!!!
