My favorite treat on vacation is to order a steak and lobster combo. meal. I noticed that both of these restaurants serve this entree, with Yachtsman costing an extra $15 or so. Is it worth it or is the entree at Teppanyaki also good? Has anyone tried both?

Thanks

These restaurants are very different - with the Yachtsman your surf n turf will come out as an entree plated with whatever potatoes and sides you ordered, steak and tails intact.

At Teppanyaki you will be seated with other people, depending on the size of your party, around a hot plate table. The chef then comes out and cooks the food. The steak here is sliced up and griddled (or whatever you call it) and although I haven't had the lobster here, with the shrimp he cut them in half - so he may do the same with the lobster. Also bear in mind that this is Japanese style.

Both are excellent it just depends on how you like your steak served and if you want a private meal.

I haven't been to Yachtman's, but we go to Teppanyaki every visit and I always get the steak/lobster combo we love this rest. and wouldn't miss it.

Don't know about Teppanyaki but Yachtsman is DH absolute Fav surf and turf (or Land and Sea). Both lobster and steak is awesome.
