Thinking about getting some slipcovers for our two loveseats in our front living room. We really don't use these couches, they are mostly for show, but our dogs do lay on them when we are gone.

How do you like them? Are they easy to put on? What about once they are on, do they move around a lot and need a lot of fixing? We really wouldn't have many people sitting on them, but the dogs will probably be on them a lot, so I don't know if they would mess up just from that.

What about washing, too?

Any opinions or experiences would be appreciated!

I'm on my 2nd set of SureFit slipcovers for the sofa in our family room. I don't know if it's the size of our sofa or what, but the slipcovers don't look as tight and perfect-fitting as they do in the catalog. I don't mind for the family room sofa, but I wouldn't do it for the living room sofa.

That being said, I really like this 2nd set much better than the first. SureFit now has slipcovers where you get a separate cover for each seat cushion. Get this type if you can! The slipcovers that are all one piece tend to move around when you sit on them and get messed up really easily. This one with the separate seat covers rarely needs adjusted, and I have 2 teenage boys who plop down on the sofa to play Nintendo.

The slipcovers wash just fine, cold water, gentle cycle.
