We have always visited in Sept or March, but for the first time, we're going in June. Someone on the DDP board mentioned a dining surcharge. I didn't realize that there were seasonal rates on food, too. Is the surcharge a consistant percentage? Where do I find info on that?
Thanks, ~~g.

From what I can figure out, it is only on the buffet and family-style places. Looking at the surcharges for spring, it is about three or four dollars per adult and two or three dollars for children. Unbelievable, but there you have it!

According to Disney they are not "surcharges" but "holiday/peak price increases." These apply to buffets and fixed-price all you can eat meals.

Dates for this year, so far, appear to be: March 16-29, May 25-July 5.

For this year, it appears likely there will also be increases for the Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Years periods, like last year's.

I've copied the "surcharges" term and used it in my post. :guilty: Thanks for correcting my vocab...I'll clean up my language! :thumbsup2
