Surprise we are going to Disney World!! âDay 2

DS-Keewatin-10- (Kiwi for short)-Also a Disney Fanatic
I was nervous about sleeping in and missing our flight so I set both the alarm and a wake up call (kinda like the Seinfield episode where they sleep in for the big marathon!) and they both go off at the same time-the ungodly hour of 4:15 am! We are pretty organized and get ready quickly. The hotel shuttle took us over to the MSP airport at 5:30 am. We got our boarding cards and went thru security no problem. Had time to eat some breakfast from Burger King before boarding our flight. We had to transfer planes in Atlanta, it was a good thing our flight was 20 mins early getting in or we would have missed our connection. Atlanta is a huge airport and of course we had to go from concourse A to E. We land on time, change into shorts and pick up our rental from National and take the south exit to Disney. Yippppeeeee-We are here! It is nice and sunny but not overly hot-just right! We easily find our way to WDW, only 2.50 for tolls. DS is chattering away the whole time in the back seat. We had planned on heading right over to MGM but realized if we didnât check in we would have to pay for parking-so to save a few bucks we stopped off at All-Star Sports. They had our room ready even though it was yet 2:00,they put us at the back of the resort in the Tennis building. We pretty much dumped our stuff and headed over to MGM Studios. We were excited and walked so fast over to Tower of Terror after getting our fast pass (FP) for Rock-N-Roll rollercoaster. I didnât remember Tower of Terror being so scary! Both DS and I were screaming! DH was laughing at us-we love this ride! We ate at ABC Commisionary and then did the Great Movie Ride. We all liked this ride and the live actors. It was our FP time for Rock-N-Roll Rollercoaster; it is so nice to just stroll right past everyone in the regular line! More screams from all of us-fast ride! Who wants to be a Millionaire was new since our last trip so we went over, had a 20 min wait before the doors open, the show never did fill up. Apparently we donât have fast fingers as we never made the score board but we did have fun playing along! It was dark when we came out and it had cooled right off. We did Star Tours as both DS and DH love this ride, I find it a little jerky. I just had to see Muppet 3D-again, no line up the theater was almost empty. This show is so cute. After picking up sweatshirts at our resort we went to Downtown Disney and browsed the shops until 10:00,had something to eat at McDonalds before heading back to the resort. A wonderful day-we fell into bed exhausted.
