Hi there!

My wife has always enjoyed Disney - and I have too - but she REALLY enjoys Disney. Our 10 year Anniversary is in May 2013 and since we have been countless times to Disneyland and Disney World, I was thinking about surprising her with a trip to Disneyland Paris.

I didn't know how long I should plan on spending at the parks. Disneyland in California you can do (comfortably) in two days... whereas you can spend a week in Disney World.

I know that she would probably want to do some other things in Paris - like the flea markets (believe it or not).

Any suggestions on how long to plan on DLP, and area's to stay that would be convenient to both the city attractions and Disney.

Thanks!

Hi ddarling :welcome: to the Disneyland Paris Trip Planning & Community Board.

Becky, Elaine and I are hoping you'll have lots of fun on here    please join in with any thread or if you have any questions please start a new one of your own.

If you haven't had a look yet, the DLP DISboard posting rules are here and the DIS posting guidelines can be found here. :)

What a lovely surprise for your DW.

DLP is very similar in size to DL and although I think it's probably best to allow 3 days, 2 days will be enough.

It's very easy to travel between Paris and DLP, 40 minutes on the train, so you've the choice of whether you stay in one place and travel back and forth or whether you do a split stay in Paris and DLP.

Have a look at the Hotel FAQ which will give you an idea of the Disney hotels plus the offsite ones.
