Valentines
And for some strange reason I think of the peanuts characters you know Charlie Brown Snoopy I don’t know why but when I hear pink I think of them I just don’t know why 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
Pink is one of my most favorite colors because it looks really good on me - I have several sweaters in pink and I often use it as as color I decorate with - to me it is a nice happy color 💕

I’m very grateful for my new pink sweater I waited all summer for it go on clearance sale and I was very happy I was able to be able to get one wore it on my birthday 💕

Pink has always been my favorite color. It's a color in God's beautiful sunrises.

Minty, my loyal stuffed animal friend from childhood.

Light pink carnations that are budding are my very favorite flower.

Pink and green, colors of spring and definitely Valentine's Day Pink, too.

Good Morning!

#1 - DRAGONFRUIT VITAMIN WATER - It’s my favorite flavor

#2 - BABY DRESSES MY GIRLS WORE - I kept several because they are timeless and a granddaughter could wear them one day.

#3 - PINK FLOWERS - I have certain pink flowers that I buy every year for my pool deck. They are low maintenance and beautiful

Evening all!

I've never even heard of strawberry cream pie, I take it that's a thing in the States? Sounds tasty so I'd certainly like to try it!

1. Pink nail polish - i adore pink nail polish in any shade, from bright to more nude and natural. Sadly can't wear it on my hands any more due to allergies but still wear it on my toenails to brighten them up.

2. Pink lipstick - another of my staples, I have my favourite lipstick (Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink) in a few different pink shades that I cant do without when getting out and about.

3. Strawberry mousse - love these as a nice sweet fruity snack in the evenings as a fairly low fat/cal dessert.

Blessings 🙏 on to you Pollyanna.... the Holy Spirit told me the other day to pull over on US route 95 and take a picture of the big pink wrapping covering of the school bus size rolls of harvested cotton....nah ... what is the odds pink is going to be a the color of gratefulness ...so forlorn I went out into the mud squeezing between your toes aftermath of the quick flood to look for rocks...low and behold...a pink rock...in the shape of a heart... rocks harvested like sea shells

Pink is my DGD’s favorite color, so there’s a lot of pink going on when we color together.
Piglet was one of my DD’s favorite characters when she was young. Probably why I always made a res at Crystal Palace every trip!
On Friday there was a beautiful sunset and so much pink in the sky that all the buildings along the road had a pink glimmer to them.

Today's Topic (Mon, 9/29) - 3 things you're grateful for inspired by Nat'l Coffee Day (warm, comforting things, things you put in your coffee, people you drink coffee with...)

Coffee!!!

>Every morning, I sit in bed with my laptop, reading email and the DISboards, with coffee in hand. DH brings me my refill. It's a lovely way to start my day!

>Espresso martinis. I usually can't drink vodka, but I make an exception here!

>Tiramisu. I am NOT a chocolate fan (it's just too sweet, and dark chocolate is too bitter), so I'm always happy to see something like tiramisu on a menu. I really like the creamy, soft texture and warm flavors of tiramisu (even the dusting of cocoa powder on top).

1. My grandma S- she drank coffee all day and her house always smelled like hot coffee. Any time I smell coffee I think of her.
2. Mocha- DH and I enjoy Mocha- there was a little place a couple miles down the road that had delicious mocha. It always helped get rid of my migraines there was so much caffeine. BUT I can't have dairy anymore and they went out of business.
3. DS- my son enjoys a cup of coffee often.

I drink way too much coffee!

1. Flavoured lattes - a latte is my go to drink especially when I go out for a coffee, and I have a soft spot for gingerbread and pumpkin spice flavours. Especially as some of my local coffee shops have these all year round 😋

2. Coffee machine - I have a Nespresso machine, and while it isn't particularly flash or all singing and dancing like some, I can't survive without it and love the different flavours and types of coffee I can make with it.

3. Chai lattes - technically not coffee, however I've recently discovered chai lattes and they're really nice. Favourite version is a dirty chai latte which includes a shot of espresso, and with a bit of cinnamon dusting on top... tasty.

Also agree with the espresso martinis and tiramisu - anything coffee flavoured is usually a winner!

and my DISNEY coffee cup
Yes, coffee mugs!! I have a bunch that were gifts, souvenirs from trips, etc. - Way more fun than a matching set. :flower:

Coffee itself - I love my "cup of warm" when I just need a few minutes to ease into (or back into ) the day.

And coffee reminds me of my mom, because she would always invite people in for a cup of coffee. ☕💗

Challenging topics for me...I'm not a pink person and I don't drink coffee (I know...what's wrong with me?!?!?).

Pink
Roseate Spoonbill - I went for a walk on a new nature trail in a different part of town over the weekend. On my way, I saw a Roseate Spoonbill in the water. They're pretty neat looking pink birds and they're my mom's favorite.
Rare Steaks - OK, it's probably more red than pink the way I like it, but either way...no brown meat.
Cotton Candy - The basics all taste the same, but I'm usually drawn to pink as it seems the most "natural."

Coffee
Espresso Powder - It's in the coffee family and it's a must if you want to step up the flavor of homemade chocolate frosting.
The smell - Even if I don't drink it, I love the smell of it.
My Coffee Pound Cake - I make a cake flavor that incorporates instant coffee grounds and about a cup of ultra strong coffee. The finished product has this really great sweetened coffee flavor. I pair it with a mocha buttercream...which is essentially my chocolate frosting with extra amounts of espresso powder to really amplify the coffee angle.

Actually I have ran into a lot of people lately that just don’t drink coffee and quite frankly I don’t understand that but good for you that you can function without coffee because I can’t comprehend that🤣🤣🤣 but I am quite amazed and impressed that you can do that because when I have had to go without coffee I cannot function🤣🤣🤣🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ but I am not a happy person to be around!!’ Tea is OK but I just prefer coffee I think it smells amazing I wish it taste as greatest as it smells don’t get me wrong I love the taste of coffee but it smells a lot better than it taste and I do drink my coffee black no sugar no cream nothing in it just straight up coffee

I do want you all to understand I’m not knocking you I am quite impressed with people that can function without coffee I mean seriously very impressed !!! Because I’m that person on the cruise that will go downstairs with bed head in pajamas just to get some coffee and then go upstairs back to my room so I can take a shower and get ready for my day but I gotta get my coffee if I can’t make some in the room I gotta go get some
