Supposed to be studying, thinking about Disney instead!

So here I am sitting in the school library... supposed to be studying for Mammalian Physiology. I have a test tomorrow night, and this is a 6 credit hour class. Needless to say, I need to do well.

However, I have a problem. Figured I could confide on everyone else on this board who have this problem... I can't stop thinking about Disney. Doesn't help that I'm listening to the Wishes! soundtrack while studying.

Went to Disney over Christmas break, and I was extremely lucky to convince my parents to let my best friend and I for part of our Spring Break. I've never been without my family, and part of me is looking forward to it. Before the Christmas trip, it had been a year and half since I had gone (which is a while for my family) because I don't get off for Mardi Gras anymore at college in AL and my family went for Mardi Gras. The I want to go back bug was starting to wear off until I went back in December.

This is the cool part though.. I know that I have to do well on my tests so that I don't have to retake any classes. If I don't have to retake any more classes, I'll graduate from Auburn University in December and start Chiropractic College in Port Orange, FL next March (just over a year away!) When I do that, I'll be just about an hour and half away from my most favorite place in the world. So, if that's not incentive to do well in classes, I don't know what is!!

Ok back to studying. Somebody respond and keep me company please!

:rotfl: I am in the same boat as you! I'm trying to write a literary analysis of Poe's "The Cask of Amontillado" and all I can do is DIS and listen to Disney music! And it's due when? Tomorrow. How much is done? Not much! I seriously need to get help! :rotfl2:

That sounds worse than studying Mammalian Physiology!

Did you know that malignant hyperthermia is pathological condition in which calcium release channels are defective? :confused3

I can't wait for this test to be done tomorrow night.

But I'm a science major so I don't have to write papers hahaha.

I didn't know that... Did I want to? :confused3 Not sure. :teeth:

You can take your Mammalian Physiology... I'll stick with the literary analysis, okay? I want to be a writer of some sort, you want to be a scientist of some sort, so we're both okay, for now, even if these assignments aren't our real interests at least they're in the field. I'm just glad I'm not taking math this time around, ugh!

I have that problem all the time..in fact, thats how one of my trips to disney got planned! my friend and i were studying for our finals at the end of sophomore year and we were stressed so we booked a trip instead of studying :)

The only type of writer I'd want to be is a Disney Tourbook Writer :lmao: ...time to change my major!

My best friend (the one who's going to Disney with me) is at work right now (she's the managing editor for the school newspaper), and we're having an email convo about Disney plans. We just decided on what style of refillable mugs we should get.

Just want to tell you it's probably not going to get any better as you get older. Sometimes I need to be GRADING papers, and I'm on the Disboards instead! We're not going back until July, and I know we talk about some aspect of the trip every single day. Just keep studying to get a good job to pay for all those future trips you'll take. That's how I convince myself to do my work - so that I can get a paycheck to fund the Disney trips.

LOL. I started my masters thesis 1 1/2 years ago. Still haven´t handed it in but I´m working on our second Disney trip in a year.

You are not alone with being on the DIS when school work is being done at the same time. I'm taking a Gifed and Talented course this semester. I was interested since I have no other reason to take the class due to retirement.

My paper, powerpoint, and game to teach other teachers about acceleration is complete. Lesson plans for next week for my second grade class is complete. Have I washed and ironed for next week? NOT :laundy:

I rather DIS and hope and pray for another Disney visit. :cheer2:

I wish all of you well in your studies! It's a shame we can't take a class in Disney Vacation Planning..... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

OMGosh I DIS all the time when I'm supposed to be studying or writing a paper. Thank GOD I graduate soon! LOL

I was supposed to be cleaning today...the bug guy is coming for his quarterly rounds through all the aparrtments tomorrow (no we don't have bugs...and the apartment management likes to keep it that way). Then I got online and went to the DIS...and, well, you all know how that goes.... :lmao:
