Supportive flip flops?

DH and I wear Sanuks. Sanuks use yoga mat material. There are various styles but just the normal flip flops are great for the parks. I've worn them around DLR and WDW.

I love my sanuk yoga mats flip. They are super soft. I do also love fit flops, they have more suport. Although they leave a little to be desired in the style department.

I wear FitFiops in the parks and alternate with Keens when I know I am going to get wet (like at AK, when my kids will want to ride Kali over and over again).

My double thickness rainbows are pretty awesome.....and my thick reefs....

I am a flip flop girl too.....but my foot doc says I need to have support.....I can get away with it running around town, but for 10+ miles at the parks? I am trying to transition to my chacos (AMAZING support) and I just bought some keens (after seeing the suggestion here!) that I expect will be awesome :)

I'm a flip flop girl too, and my favorite ones to wear to the parks are OluKai Ohana flip flops. I just bought two pairs from Amazon before my last trip. They are the only flip flops that I wear in the parks because they are super comfortable and the bottoms are sturdy. I love them.

Another BIG fan of OluKai flip flops! they have great support and are AWESOME! I have plantar fasciitis (severe) and these are the only flip flops I wear.

I own a Flip Flop Shop in NJ we carry almost every brand that has been discussed in this thread and I have to agree with those that said Olukai. They are made by former Nike designers and have awesome arch support! Both the Ohana and Kulapa Kai styles do well for women and the Ohana style does best for men. Not sure where in NJ you are but our shop is in Garden State Plaza in Paramus and we have some Olukai on clearance since it's the end of summer, feel free to come on by and try them on!

My BOC (Born) Flip Flops are hard soled, with good arch support and have lasted for 8 years, never had a blister. They even have a cute flower on the front that makes then kind of dressy. That being said they are leather, so technically not water proof, but I've never had a problem in the rain.

I bought Croc flip flops and wore them around all summer at home and they were great. Within 30 minutes of wearing them at WDW, I had giant blisters. I attributed it to that humidity and the rubbery material of the flip flop rubbing against my feet. Haven't worn them since.

I did 12+ hours recently in my OluKai Ohanas without issues. OluKai's have quite a bit of arch support. A little more than I'm used to, but they sure did help alleviating soreness. I also like FitFlops. Did about 10+ hours in those. Whatever you do, make sure to bring multiple pairs of your most comfortable footwear (broken in before you get to the parks) and switch every day. Both kinds of flips can withstand a soaking, but are slippery when totally wet. They do dry quickly though. The OluKai's probably dry out faster.

Teva mush! I've done Disney a few times in them with no problem. And I have crappy feet! I have Crocs flips that I love for bumming around, but I don't think they'd be great for a day at Disney! HTH!
