I am only partly joking when I say I think I need some help here!

I'll start. My name is Vicki and I have a problem...

I have to be up at 5 am to take my DD to volleyball practice. It's 2 am and what am I doing? Reading Dis and packing my suitcase 5 weeks out! :sad2:

Bought pretty much all new clothes so can have bags packed. Although not as bad as it sounds. I bought cheap but cute Walmart Disney shirts for the most part. Finding clearance shorts and capris. Spent about $100 for 8 outfits for each person. Love bargain hunting and love wearing brand new clothes on vacation. :cool1:

Was pink slipped from teaching job this summer and first thought was dang I didn't need to plan around my fall break and should have went a week later. Second thought was more time to plan! I know, should be more worried about finding a new job but stressing about that isn't helping and actually unemployment plus some subbing will be enough $ until I find new career or find a new teaching job next school year with upcoming retirements. Plus like I said it's a sickness I tell you. (to be honest I think this vacation is helping
me escape from stress)

Oh and before I get flamed, yes I am looking for a job and yes would rather be working. This is meant to be fun.

:rotfl: Hi, my name is Julie and I'm addicted to Disney

We have been planning this trip since January and are now only 29 days away from starting our vacay... I have been packing since - oh - February... None of the kids in our group know - huge surprise - shhhhhh :rolleyes1

During our waiting time we had a major flood in our apartment & had to move (used some insurance money to pay for my MNSSHP tickets), husband was denied a new job because of our vacation, and made it a stipulation in accepting another... :rotfl2: We have come up with 15 different ways to tell the kids... made dining reservations, changed them, and then changed them back only to cancel them and then remake them... :scared1:

Last night after my daughter went to bed, dh & I stayed up til 10:30 RE-packing (for the upteenth time) our suitcases, cataloging everything that went in them...

We have invites, t-shirts, hats, pens, note pads, thank you cards, and more all centered around our disney theme - our dd has so many disney shirts (between dsis, dm, & my purchases) that we actually had to put some away because it was too many to bring :lmao: we haven't even left on this vacation and have put the deposit down on our vacation NEXT September...

Here it is 5:30am and I have been up since 4am browsing Disney sites and the DIS board... I am addicted to Disney and I LOVE IT!!!:banana::banana:

Hi my name is Shawna & I am also addicted to Disney.

My daughter tells me all the time how I need to stop obsessing over Disney. All I do is talk about it, tell everyone our countdown & am always on the Dis forum (at work right now but as you can tell im not working hard :lmao:). I get very excited knowing that we have our trip booked & get very sad when DH says we may not be able to go one year :scared1: How can he say such bad words???

We had gone to Disney in Dec/Jan for our wedding, drove home & a month later drove back down in Feb. Yet it feels like it was years ago that we had been there. I go all year without using any vacation (& I have 4 weeks) just in case we are able to do more than one trip or stay longer than we expected.

My plan is to visit every Disney out there. That is on my bucketlist. We are planning for Disneyland next year & DH would love to do Disney Paris. DH said we probably will not be able to Tokyo etc but that is on my list!

I guess I should get back to work so that I can make money to help pay for our trips to Disney.

GO DISNEY LOVERS!!!

I knew you guys would make me feel normal! :rotfl2:

Only here would you understand how I almost went out at 3am to buy a luggage scale. I resisted and waited until a reasonable hour. After dropping DD off at school for 6:30 am for volleyball practice I them drove 20 miles out of my way to get the scale from a walmart that was open. See I still have some sense left. :rolleyes1

My name is Stephanie and I too, am a Disney addict. We've gone every year for 5 years and this year...we had to SKIP a trip! We normally go in the fall because we love the low crowds, beautiful weather, and holiday decorations. Plus, what's not to love about either being there for MNSSHP or MVMCP? We LOVE Disney. My dh and both dd's love it. BUT, I'm pregnant this year. By the time we would have normally gone (either October or December) I would have been either 7 or 9 months pregnant and somehow my dh seems to think it's not a good idea.

So what do I do? I start planning our trip for next year! The problem is, it's SO far away! I'm having withdrawls! So yes, I understand and no, you're not crazy. I'm normally packing and re-packing and writing lists of what to do the night, week, month before we leave for MONTHS before we actually leave.

Just make sure when you get back you post a trip report so I can live vicariously thru you!
