Support group for us no pin people!?

When I call (again) for a pin what do I say? Where should I get directed to? reservations, customer service? I don't know what to say. I already have reservations, paid in full, for October 15-26. I have done the multiple accounts, various name combos, slightly altered addresses, everything.... still nothing :confused3.
 
Well, I just received the Explore your Disney Resort email.

Maybe a pin will follow soon!!!! :banana:
 
Good luck! I'm gonna try once more using an old address and a misspelled name. One more attempt can't hurt anything but my sanity, right? :rotfl:


You're on the right track, because I got the Explore Your Resort email (the referenced dates don't matter) one week before I got my pin, and there were lots of Disney Destinations emails in between (stationery, snow globe...). The only email address that received the pin was the one that got the Explore Your Resort email. Good luck!
 
That's what happened to me. I got the explore email and 2 days later the pin code email. Only it was a week later before I knew about the pin code because it was in my spam folder.:cool1:

I have a great travel agent that I sent my pin # to and she got the discount applied with no problem. We are booked for 2 rooms at Animal Kingdom Savannah view for 6 nights and our discount was 1025.97 off per room.

Well, I just received the Explore your Disney Resort email.

You're on the right track, because I got the Explore Your Resort email (the referenced dates don't matter) one week before I got my pin, and there were lots of Disney Destinations emails in between (stationery, snow globe...). The only email address that received the pin was the one that got the Explore Your Resort email. Good luck!

I finally got the Explore Your Resort email today! It came to my brand-new gmail account, and on the Disney profile associated w/it I spelled my last name differently and used a previous street address that Disney's never seen. None of my other email addresses received that email.

I hope, hope, hope none of that will cause an issue if I get the PIN...because my DH and our travel companions all just green-lighted a stay at Beach Club if I can get us a good deal! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2
 
That's the same thing I did, left out a "r" in my name and used my previous address. I have heard it can cause problems but to keep trying if you get a CM that won't let you use it. I was considering BC too, but will be happy to just add another day!

I got the Explore Your Resort email 5 days ago and nothing. I saw a poster yesterday that said it took them 2 weeks! I plan to pay the balance on the vacation this week or next and would prefer to finalize my plans before then!
 
Nothing, still nothing. I got the explore your resort 10 days ago.... still nothing.

You might want to go in and "explore your resort." I clicked the link in the email (after 1 week of waiting) and looked around, obviously without booking, and I got the pin the next day. Try it!

gave up after MONTHS of trying-- FINALLY got one (40% off-- no length requirement which is exactly what i was hoping for!!)... Nothing to either comcast account or my work email.... but the gmail account finally came through.. I called and book 3 nights at the Yacht club for my kidless escape w/ the hubby the week before thanksgiving.. 11/17-11/20.. Anyway, I DID typo my address with an extra digit on this one and I really think the "new address" helped. I didn't find it was very difficult to change it back and was all reserved within 15 minutes of the pin :)
 
Just wanted to share my experience with the 'pinless' -- I was pinless up until today. Usually I get a PIN via email every 2 months or so. So of course, when we really wanted to go--no PIN. I checked, checked, rechecked...nothing. Asked when I made our reservation 2 weeks ago. CM said nope, no PIN. Called 2 days ago to make a change to our reservation, the CM said "sorry there aren't even PINs out yet for fall" (which of course I knew was a load of bunk). So just for kicks, I called again today. Finally got a nice CM, and lo and behold, we had a PIN! And guess what? It was expiring TODAY! Good thing I called! The CM was very sweet but I did take the time to tell her that I had asked about PINs several times...I doubt there's anything they can do but they should at least hear it. It was probably the worst PIN we could get (10% off) but I was happy to finally have something and will hold my breath that something else comes out.

The super nice CM said that since this PIN was expiring today, I should keep checking to see what comes next, and I will probably get another. Told me to check in another week or so.

Okay so I got a pin code to my main email but it was in my Husbands name. I call to check it out. While going thru the automated process it had my main email. When I talked to a reservation person they had the email that I had created to try to trigger the pin. He also said he saw that I had called a few times in the past weeks. I had called once yesterday and once about 2 weeks ago before today. Forgot to say it was 40% off any room.
