Support group for us no pin people!?

not one here. I guess maybe tonight I will log in and save a reservation for 24hrs just debating which resort to save it at.

I debated the same thing, and ultimately I saved duluxe, moderate, and villa. I have no idea if that makes any difference!

I would definitely complain. Does it say that you are only allowed one account per household? If not you should be able to have as many accounts as you want.

They are not fake names. They are still all you!

Ok, I am wondering if there is a way for us to delete Disney accounts we no longer want. Anybody know?

I never did get a pin, which is too bad, because I am thinking about finding a way to go back this summer afterall, but I really don't want all these accounts anymore.

Well, I'm outa here and no longer looking for a pin. In reality if I haven't gotten one in 16 years I doubt it will suddenly come thru now. I did do all the steps that were listed to magically get a pin. I'm taking the DVISA offer for free dining. Good luck to all those still on the pin hunt!

I hear ya and feel your pain.
I have not gotten a pin in the 13 years I have been actively going to Disney, so I'm not going to be wishing on a falling star any longer.

I'll go and figure out if free dining would work for us and I better think fast, if we are going to try to go to Disney this year. I don't typically like packages and never book them, plus with the GAD ticket discount, I was hoping for a room only code. But who knows, maybe free dining will be our ticket to Disney.

Well, I'll post if I get a pin, but eh! Not going to be pinning and tweaking anymore.

Update: ugh! looks like you have to buy a 2 day ticket forfree dining. That really won't work out for us since we have the Give A Day ticket discount which must be used this year. A one day ticket is ok to hold on to, but a two day ticket is too much $ to shell out. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

I opened a NEW GMAIL account on April 27th.
Same day, I went to the Disney World website and created a new profile, using the new gmail address. I did not use my residential address - used my older sisters. Created an itenerary staying at the Wilderness Lodge the first week of December. Then, I clicked on the itinerary button. Asked me to save, I said no. Then, clicked on the itinerary button and created an itinerary. Said no to accomodations and would buy tickets there. Survey popped up and I said I was doing this because it was too expensive. I then logged out and I have not logged in since.

On April 28, I got an explore your resort email. I didn't click on anything or go to the WDW page.

Today, April 29, I got my 20/30/40% off email!

What I think are major tips (but who knows):

-created brand new email address
-registered at WDW with a new residential mailing address
-created vacation, didn't save it
-went to itinerary and said it was too expensive/staying off property/tickets will buy there
-left it alone. I didn't sign in or out.

I created a new email and new account with disney but used my same address. I wonder if that will hinder my getting a code.

stupid question from a newbie................ what exactly is the deal with these coveted PINs? At first I thought you guys were talking pins that you pin on your clothes. Then i got an email the other day from Disney and it did have a Pin # at the bottom so then it clicked. However, I didn't pay much attention to what it said as we're not going 'til 2011. Anways, just wanted to get the 411 on the Pin so I can be prepared when it's time for me to book. Thanks!

I am going to go back into my original link in the Welcome Email and at the bottom there is a place to say this email was set up in error. On all but the lucky ones.

Alright, so can someone please tell me if getting the letterhead is a good thing? I haven't the energy to search for this anymore. I got tired of this PIN game and just booked the Contemporary at full price today. Went to one (of my many!) e-mail accounts on the Disney website and deleted my saved itineraries. I had no saved offers at the time, so the account was then empty. Within 10 minutes, I got the letterhead. They are teasing me. So should I be hopeful again? Thanks for your help!

okay I just went in and saved 3 different vacation packages. one moderate, one delux and one villa I save quick serivce dinning on 2 and regular dinning on one. I got the exit survey and I filled it out saying too expensive. I then created an iteniary saying staying off site and needs tickets. I then logged out.

Got the "Explore Your Resort" yesterday, did nothing on the WDW website, and then got nothing today. Do I need to do anything or just continue to leave it alone?

I'd like to know the answer to this, as well. I thought that the "Explore Your Resort" email was a good sign. Other people have gotten pins after receiving that one. I just keep getting "More Disney Magic Ahead" - the one that asks you to make a video. I don't know whether to click on the link and make the video, or to leave the email alone. I sort of feel like I keep going to the Disney site, and maybe I'm better off not doing that. It's kind of frustrating! Good luck to both of us!

I am getting nothing! I created an account for my husband and still nothing but a welcome to Disneyworld.com. I can't swing a trip without some kind of discount! What is a saved offer? I have no worthwhile messages on my saved itinerary, so I deleted it. Advice?
