Still PINless here *and* I got a slap in the face when I received WDW emails on 3 accounts today but they were all Prince of Persia sweepstakes ads. AAARRRGGGHHHH!!

From past posters, this seems to be a good thing, they are usually followed by the PIN EMAIL.

**The only emails I have been getting are from fellow DIS'ers!
So AT LEAST you are getting them from somewhere in Disney Cyber Space!

Over the past two weeks... yes, TWO weeks, I've gotten the "April Hello", "digital Books", "Prince of Persia" and over the last 2 days have gotten the "Disney Insider". None of these have been from Disney Destinations though.

But today is a new day!

It worked! After 2 weeks of messin' around with email accounts, DH received the 20/30/40 pin today. (Mine came around 1:00.)


So, if it's been a while and you still haven't got a thing.... it remains true that there is no set turn around time, or rhyme or reason.

However, there seems to be ONE common thread ... PIN PEOPLE have logged on done their thing , logged off... and LEFT IT ALONE.
So, try to...
That being said I did this for one of my accounts and still nothing.

But it may be linked to the address/household as CM's are saying.
So try not to touch anything. Fill the time on Dis Forums if you can help it.

and here's some Disney today...

I got mr white rabbit's 20/30/40

OK - so I already had a trip booked with 4 nights at 40% and 1 night at 25% so all I was able to do was upgrade that 1 night to 40% - which did save me $105.
that's a meal at the Cali Grill!

I really couldn't afford to spend a lot of money on a 2nd trip later in the year - not all the way from Australia!

I set up a gmail account, followed all the instructions on itineries and didn't log back into the account. that was Sunday and lo - a Tuesday email.

So they are still handing them out everyone - you may still get one!!

Ok, here's the whole sequece of events. On Monday April 12th around late afternoon I created my first new email and new profile on Disney's site.Under profile update I edited my contact preferences to include every option they listed including fax which I don't even have. I did the itinerary and said no accomadations needed, then checked staying off site. Yes to tickets. I left everything else blank. Saved it and signed out. Left that one alone and did not sign back in again. I then created several new ones and saved offers, saved and then deleted itins. The one I got the pin offer on was the one I did not touch since 4-12, the first new one. So I think you really need to stay off of at least one profile. To up your chances try to stay off them all. Save your itin. log out and stay out. Mine took 8 days. So don't give up!

btw...the email subject line read "Bonnie, don't be late for this very important rate" and I knew right away.

Ok, I just finished creating a new e-mail on yahoo and followed your steps above. Now I'll leave this one, and the 2 I created yesterday alone and see what happens next week.

Oh - jgallant - account set up was last sunday - 18th and the email was Tuesday the 20th

you know I never receive any of those emails - people write about Hello, Disney Oceans, free stationery, wallpaper, resort previews etc - but I've had none of them!

I wonder if Disney doesn't want to send promo mail outside of the US cause it will bump into different jurisdictions about online selling / spam / etc ?? Maybe that;s why Canadians and Australians have a hard time getting stuff

Well I decided to try the don't log in approach. I access their website from 2 browsers at home and 1-2 at work so I guess I need to log out of all of them? I will continue to use my account that already has the vacation booked if I need to research or do anything I guess.

Yesterday I did create a brand new email with a brand new account. I did save 3 vacations and not sure if I did itineraries or not. I Have several other accounts that I do have itineraries with that are new accounts. I don't know why I do this since I want the FQSD pin anyway and the chances of that are even slimmer!

I know I don't log in with all my accounts everyday but I am not sure there is one I have Left alone for days at a time...
