Supershuttle or Disneyland Resort Express?

Which is faster from the SNA airport to Disneyland area: Supershuttle or Disneyland Resort Express? Do you need to make reservations ahead of time or once you arrive at the airport?

In our experiences, Super Shuttle is quicker, runs more often, and makes fewer stops because it only holds a handful of people. The DLR Express holds a lot more people and only runs at scheduled times. When we were at DL a few weeks ago, we stayed at the Hilton and when we were going back to Orange County Airport our bus had to stop at several hotels before dropping us off at the DL Hotel. We had to take all of our lugguage off the one bus to transfer to the other one and they had to hold the bus for us because our 1st driver was running late. I will never take the bus again (can't remember why I booked it in the first place! )

Whatever you do, you may want to make the transportation arrangements ahead of time, just to be sure.

You dont have to book ahead of time to get from the airport to your hotel. Although I think the rates on the web are a little lower then the rates in person. You will, of course, want to book ahead from the hotel to the airport.
