I just booked SuperShuttle round trip from SNA to the hotel (then back to the airport). I just realized after booking it, that they don't provide carseats/boosters. I have a 3 year old....do I have to bring my own carseat? Or do you think it's okay to have her ride without one?

Thoughts?

Or maybe I find transportation that will provide a carseat?

You need to provide your own. A good driver will not allow your child to ride without one.

You will need to bring your own. Super Shuttle will not provide any.
If you book the Magical Express from SNA, you will not need one. It is more costly however.

How tall is she? If she is tall enough for a high-back booster, I would recommend bringing one of those. They are far easier to carry around than a full size car seat and usually only cost $20-30, if you don't have one already.

We always use Disneyland resort express as they are they only transport that does not require car seats as they use coaches.

Or do you think it's okay to have her ride without one?

Nope.

When DS was carseat age we brought his Roundabout and then (once we got it) his Cosco Scenera (purchased for traveling). Gate checked it once he didn't use it on the airplane.

If you really don't want to bring the seat, go for Disneyland Resort Express.

If the child is of a reasonable size you could go with a backless booster. They are very easy to travel with (we just strap it to our carryon bag and keep it with us). We did this on the Super Shuttle in April at SNA with our 4 year old who is small for her age and the driver didn't have any issue.

We used an inflatable booster called the Bubble Bum which was easy to travel with. We would have gone with the Disneyland Express bus, but they operate kind of like a public transportation bus, on a schedule with certain stops on their route. Their latest bus is pretty early, too, like before 7pm.

I know it is a pain for some people, but we always bring our car seat (we have a lighter one, just for traveling) and we take it on the plane with us. Our daughter feels secure in her car seat on the plane, and the carseat is easy to care through the airport with one hand, or we throw it in the stroller. We never regret bringing her own seat.
