I haven't actually checked out Supershuttle, just read about it from these boards. Would I be able to set up a time for them to pick us up at HoJo's (thinking 4 am on a Friday morning) and get us to LAX ?
Plane leaves at 7 am that morning- hopefully that is enough time?

Are they trustworthy-- would hate to miss the flight , if no one shows up at that weeeeeeee hour of the morning. :earseek:

It's been years since I did this but I took a Supershuttle from the Anaheim Hilton around 4 am (for an international 7 am flight). That was almost 10 years ago though.

I've used Supershuttle in other cities and they're pretty reliable...even in NYC where the traffic was bad, they got me to the airport on time.

We had to leave the HoJo last June about 4:00 a.m. to catch a very early flight. My father in law had picked us up but wasn't crazy about coming all the way to Anaheim at 4:00 a.m! So when we checked in the very nice desk clerk at the HoJo set up a cab for us. It was more like town car service and a really great experience. He was waiting for us in front of the lobby as we attempted to quietly leave our room dragging luggage and two very sleepy kids! He even ran back up to the room with my husband to get the last couple of suitcases while I waited in the car with the kids. I would ask the hotel when you check in what they recommend. As I recall the front desk employee said they always use one particular company. My experience with Super Shuttle was okay (just a whole lot of stops before we finally got to our hotel) the one time I used them but at that hour it was nice to have a cab/car take us straight to the airport with no other stops. It was also reasonable, I don't think it was much more than Supershuttle. The driver was great but I can't remember the name of the company. It was really nice having the HoJo staff do all the arranging. The staff at that hotel are very nice and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable and stress free!

I have not taken a cab to LAX, only to John Wayne. When I flew into LAX, there was six of us as my parents were along. For that I used Goldenwest Express (www.goldenwestexpress.com) and it was $75 each way. It was a minivan and they were great.

We just got back from Disneyland on Sunday. We used the SuperShuttle to and from John Wayne Airport. Our plane arrived late getting in and we had no problem catching a ride to our hotel. Going out they told us to be in front of the hotel by 8am and the shuttle would be there between 8 and 8:20. It was there at 8 (and so were we!). Granted this isn't as early as you need, but we experienced no problems!

Traffic may not be the biggest problem, we were picked up at DL area hotel by supershuttle at 930 for a 1215p flight out of LAX but due to other stops (including a residential pickup) we got to the airport at 1100am at to gate right when boarding began - too close for my comfort. LAX pickup on first day was even worse as it took almost 2 1/2 hrs on Disney Express route, including extra 40 minutes for residential drop miles from DL.
